As Kristian Kohle from Kohle Keller Studios says you cut off the overtones but in recording you cut them off by compressor, treshhold/ noisegate and so on. Just an idea. I am not a fan of tape on drumheads. But tastes sre different. Your Gojira Grind Cover is the shit and your drums sound so epic there. Just a little feedback. Rock on and stay metal. Cheers 🤘🔥
