1. Not everyone does and in some cultures if they don’t need to leave they shouldn’t leave the family house 2. After 18 many people leave for college. So they get kicked out because of the education. So they never get kicked out, but rather leave because they have too
Only if they are not well behaved or have no plans for the future and moving out on their own. We let our daughter move back in to pay down her credit card and save a down payment for a house. She got to stay because she was being diligent and responsible. Moved in to her own home 2 years ago.
Let’s be honest here, staying home is great for saving money, I did it til I was 25, but staying home still costs a lot. Doesn’t cost money, but it sure as shit costs you your mental health & the ability to be in a serious relationship with someone.
I am living with my parents after graduation. I am working and would save and invest most of it. I lived a frugal lifestyle my whole life and I can definitely do it as an adult. I don't waste my money but I do treat myself on occasion but with moderation. I only have a problem with people living at home when they do not do anything productive with it.
If your parents are toxic like my mom was move the F out at 21 between 18-21 hustle and work hella hours save. It’s better to have peace renting a room.
@@fuijiliung I'm not very familiar with australian dollars but jeez... Our rent was supposed to be around 1k but we got it for like ~700 because we know the landlord. I'm so glad they gave us this discount because my mother is a teacher and it would be pretty much impossible for us to afford it if it was higher.
While I agree to a point, pls be very careful with this advice. It depends on your parents or the family you stay with. I would recommended other family members you have a good repoire with. I had 3 long term stints with my parents and I was never able to save any money. I will say it has hurt me in all parts of my life especially financially. Please be sure that your parents/family umderstand boundaries and that you are an Adult. Always be respectful but do not let anyone into your decisions. Please be sure you have adequate transportation. If your parents are retired, stay out of their house as much as possible. Also, please be careful of them putting their trauma and fear on to you. Also, have a clear exit plan and know the signs of when you are wearing out your welcome and when they are crossing your boundaries. It depends on your parents. Please be cautious of staying with them too long it can be a detriment depending on your relationship with your parents.
How to be lazy 101 not moving out right after college is just the recipe for disaster. You will never want to leave and pay your own bills and you will become a failure.
Lol, as long as your not living OFF of your parents u good. This scenario implied that he already had a job, living with your parents for a few years after completing your education is good
You’re a loser if you live with your parents for 10 years not paying rent and no bills and have no money saved because you don’t work FT and throw your money away on junk and video games. It happens.
Does living at home make you a loser or is it a smart financial decision?
Smart financial decision
Parents might not like that
@@nekoriwastaken0969well, asian parents don't like that you move out

We gotta pay 2.5k a month for a 2 bedroom here in virginia.
2 bedroom in Sydney costs 3200aud per month 😢

Its all fun and games until you realise that he lived in mom and dads house when he was 28
I’m living at an apartment at my grandparents house and were buying a house like a year later or 2
Best of luck!
$30000 a year is a small price to pay for some much needed privacy
Doesn’t make you a loser, it makes you a user. Seems to be a common theme today, mooching off your parents. That’s hardly a pro tip.
Why waste an extra room in your parents house??
What if your parents don't want you to stay in their house (i wouldn't want my kids living with me past 20yo)
This guy is just searching this on google
saving us some time for the least
