You don't need to build as much damage on ezreal if you are hitting 40% more Q's and W's than every other Ezreal in the world. the guy builds bruiser Ez and then just hits more abilities for damage.

he plays really upfront and agressive, in mele range a lot of the time, so maybe that ist he reason he goes sunderer, since he needs the sustain more than poking backline full crit ezreal players

Diamond~Challenger on Super Server is infamous in China for being full of bought accounts and boosted streamers, majority of the new talents in the past few years were found from Ionia(Server 1). Only NA is still obsessed about Super Server, and that's only after you people found out about Super Server 5 years late lmao.

Something he gets right frequently is that in ranged champions, if you auto attack then use an ability before the auto attack lands, that attack that's still in the air becomes empowered by your spellblade item's passive.
@@fish-rm6xl Yes it does. As long as Q doesn't hit before the AA, you get the Spellblade. You can push towers with TForce like that by pressing Q the moment your AA is in-motion and hit a minion after your AA touches Turret. Also, your Q procs the Spellblade On-Hit, so you can't double-up. Otherwise, Ezreal would be the best ADC, ever, since he could do a 400% bAD Spellblade if he pressed QW at the same time.
Oh man my favorite play in this video is actually the one where he knows he's about to get nautilus hooked so he starts ulting. That's such an underrated move you rarely see in action, because obviously your first instinct is to do everything you can to avoid the CC - so your mind has to actually skip over that roadblock and jump to accepting you're going to be CC'd and make the most of it. That's a split second decision to press R there when he could've flashed the hook instead - the CC essentially does nothing to diminish his damage output since he's going through his ult cast animation while he's stunned.

his decision making and teamfight awareness is crazy good. ive played ezreal since release and im decent, i play at a master GM level but this guy its legit like DL says, hes like a robot and he switches targets instantly and hones in on them without hesitation. hes putting out max dmg so often its insane

the fact that he is not an OTP ezreal but is also a great jungler in the super severs makes him so special

And noone talks about his autos and ez mechanics abuses? Hitting skillshots is great, ofc, but look how he maximize his damage by just dealing aa-s everytime he can! Look at 12:15! He gives jarvan aa after every q, and he knows he stacked up his passive so he can do it! And also he knows that he can't dodge Janna's tornado so he did q in that exact timing! Or look at 13:20! I didn't even know that you can q+ult 0.001 sec before the stun and it will work! Optimization of every action and damage maximization is all this guy is about! And percise GUN...gameplay, ofcourse!

I'm surprised high elo players are missing the value on Divine sunderer Ezreal. % Arpen and Magic pen baseline. is really good including manamune powerspike. In addition to the healing the item gives. It seems he takes it into high damage lanes. Similar to the lanes that Jinx or Jhin would take fleet into. High poke or kill lane matchups.

TIL i realized my ezreal not dealing damage in teamfights 'cause I keep hitting my Qs not my auto attacks.
The point is in sunderer, item is op on ezreal and he can make a little bit risky plays because of healing, then shurelya for slow and frozen heart for sustain and he can be a little frontline. Full ability haste CDR and just spamming q-s, and w-s, that's nice.

cannot play ez on lock screen. the relative positioning of your skillshots has 2 variables now not just 1. you're worried about which way the enemy champ goes at the same time you're worried about where the screen is going

When DL said "he's running Sunderer again?", I was kind of surprised. Does NA Ezreal not go Sunderer? Like 90% of the entire Asia region goes Sunderer on Ezreal first item always.
NA and EU consider sunderer on ezreal bad. Either TriForce, Crown, or Eclipse/Duskblade is considered meta although I've always been a sunderer enjoyer on ezreal.

@@battlebots1 I love Sunderer, it's just been kind of off and on in NA since that one patch where they buffed sunderer for ranged champions and Ezreal broke the game. It definitely feels like it was made specifically for Ezreal, anti-tank sheen that also heals, works for poke, gives hybrid penetration, on paper it seems like his best item for just making his whole kit hurt more and being a bit tankier. It seems a lot of NA Ezreals prefer just loading up on Q's damage specifically, and admittedly I'm no better, I've been going Duskblade on him for a while, been trying to break out of that since the durability update. It wouldn't surprise me if the durability update made Sunderer his best item again though, just because being _even_ tankier _and_ doing more damage sounds perfect for after the durability patch, at least on paper.
@@zyad48 the hybrid pen is what tingles my berries. I am also a believer in sorc shoes and think that horizon focus is unironically good as solo ap item for 'hybrid' ezreal. They may call me crazy but when I was testing builds in practice tool the only one that outdamaged it was kraken slayer/guinsoos + rest normal but that one requires you to be in auto range which is scary for our twink. This was before the durability update but I think that only makes DS stronger since only it's heal got nerfed to compensate, not it's %hp dmg.
I could also have been testing wrong. Lethality is nice for consistent poke for sure. Tho I think it's been said eclipse/prowler claw are more efficient in terms of stats bc Duskblade gives you more ability haste than you can use late game.

Divine has a sustain ability, which makes the cut I think. The damage does not matter that much, and the sustain is very important.
Sunderer is good again probably due to the durability update, where everyone gets tankier

Sunderer is really good on Ezreal specifically because he's one of the only champs that really benefits from the % hybrid pen mythic passive on it.

Better for Damage yes. But look at this guys build. Sunderer, Frozen Heart, Maw? He's Mostly concerned with himself staying Alive long enough to just do the most damage possible throughout the fight.
Triforce build doing 15% more damage, doesn't matter if you die 30 Seconds earlier. 30 seconds more of damage will ALWAYS be max total damage.

What is a super server is that like champions queue ?
Basically because China’s servers has A LOT more people than NA, they create a Super Server from D2+ players exclusively (whole ranking system iron-challenger but filled with D2+ players)

Double says he doesn't preaim but I don't think that's it at all. I think he's always preaiming, he's just aiming where you're going to be before you even know you're going to move there. Like, look at this snipe on Janna @:12:15 He moves his mouse and shoots his mystic shot before Janna even moves into position. Why? Because I think his game sense is telling him that in x seconds she's going to be somewhere in this general area. Insane stuff.
He's talking about flicking vs preaiming... not predicting where the enemies will go.

Like if you're scanning a room and always keep your crosshair centered, but flick to any enemies you see then I wouldn't say you're preaiming very much at all. Someone with good preaim is someone who anticipates where the enemy is likely to be while they slice the pie. Like if you watch certain pros you'll see that when they star clearing a room their mouse is basically already on the head of the person they're scanning for. They've played so much that they just instinctually know where someone is going to be in different situations based on subtle cues. That's what it looks like this Ezreal is doing to me.
@@animagamer2 Once again, it's preaim vs flick not preaim vs prediction. Related but different concepts. Preaim describes mouse movement and prediction deals with enemy movement.
One can preaim without prediction (as in there is no reason to not aim at head level regardless of prediction of enemy's position (location + time)).
One can also predict without preaim (self explanatory).
One can flick with prediction (as in keeping the cursor close to yourself for better movement and flick to the position).
One can flick without prediction (self explanatory - once again).
It's unclear how prediction comes into the picture when discussing preaim vs flick.

So you state that one can "preaim without prediction" and I fundamentally disagree with this comment. You literally cannot preaim with prediction. The word preaim is an abbreviation for preemptively aiming. Whenever you do something preemptively it's because your anticipating a certain result to outcome. You're preemptively aiming somewhere because you expect the enemy to be somewhere. In your own description of preaim you use prediction as an element but then say regardless of prediction. In order to aim at the head of an enemy that's not in view, you have to predict where their head is going to be. Example: You're about to enter a rioom with a window where you expect an enemy to aiming in from outside, so preemptively you move your crosshair to the window before the window is even in view. This is preaiming. You can only do that because you predict this is where the enemy will be. Like, if you already know where someone is and aim at them you wouldn't call that preaim- that's just aiming. Flicking on the other hand happens when you see an enemy somewhere you weren't expecting them and quickly move your crosshair to them with accuracy. It usually happens when the area you were preemptively aiming it isn't the area where the enemy is, so you have to correct your aim. Doublelift said that he thinks the Ezreal player isn't even preaiming, he's just a god at flicking, but based on my analysis of his mouse movements this wasn't what seems to be the case. He wasn't flicking his mouse at the enemies to hit those difficult shots, he was preemptively aiming at where he expected them to be, as I illustrated with the Janna example. Do you understand now?

I'm normally not one for examples, but as in this case, the tool of aiming is the cursor, the object you are aiming is the Ezreal Q.
When one makes an intentional movement of the cursor to the location where the Q is intended to land in anticipation of using the Ezreal's Q ability is the preaim.
What the enemy doing is irrelevant (in fact, even the existence of an enemy is irrelevant). And if the enemy is irrelevant then by extension prediction is also irrelevant (as there need not be anything to predict in the first place).
I disagree with your examples regarding preaiming at windows. One does not need to predict someone is at windows to preaim at the window. One simply needs to know where the window is. Flicking most certainly doesn't need the element of surprise (lack of prediction) as one can simply perform the act of flicking (once again, enemies not needed).

Get off your high horse. I'm Gold 4 in NA and I see people miss their CC or skills on champions coming out of stasis all the time. It's even more challenging if they have a dash or flash up to escape right after. And your argument that Zhonya's lasts the same amount of time despite what rank you are is irrelevant; you completely ignored all other factors, such as reaction speed of an average gold player vs a Challenger player in China as well as other factors that DirTea addressed.

Why do I only see sunderer copers over all chat, holy grt in fucking practice tool put and go try dmg, sunderer isnt good as a dps build. If u pick ezreal on a match u always get to do the most dmg on team, and sunderer isnt the best dmg option. Even fucking duskblade which is shit (giving more cdr to a cdr build only chara) is better than sunderer. Asia doesnt know how to fucking itemize, nor they will change in close future (hope at least). Literally only good thing western teams have over asian teams.

This is because lower level players are not sure what to look for, and unaware what to appreciate about higher level play.
If you play adc or ez, you can really see the difference. He knows his champ well, knows when and how to play agressive and hits an insane amount of ezreal qs

he doesnt do anything special, because he doesn't need to. He just does everything exactly as he should, without making mistakes.
