I´ve been meaning to vid these two for a while and I finally brought myself to do it. Japril keeps breaking my heart. I´m so angry with the finale . I was crying my eyes out with that last scene with April and Maggie. It looks like she´s given up for good and it just so painful. I could feel all the emotions she must have felt when she realized Jackson was looking at Maggie as more than a friend. But then I don´t understand what was the point of them hooking up in Montana. Specially when it didn´t seem to be just hooking up. They were in love in that moment. Jackson was in love so I really don´t understand what happened.
I´ve always had such strong feelings for these two and it breaks me that things went so wrong for them, that they couldn´t survive the lost of their son together. I really hope Japril isn´t over. Non of my OTPs from GA will be endgame then.

Greys made the biggest mistake ever getting rid of April! Her and Jackson had so much chemistry. Unbelievably they became my fave greys couple, even better than meredith and derek. Esp after derek died and we lost them as a couple....and maggie and jackson...ugh makes me cringe watching them...so saddd

Pretty sure that was the original idea but by the time the Montana episode aired (it was filmed our of order and several weeks earlier) Krista Vernoff was announced as the new show runner and it was clear the aim of that episode changed, for several episodes Montana wasn't even mentioned and then out of nowhere Jackson falls for Maggie. Fans always suspected that Krista didn't like Sarah or Jessica Capshaw.

the fact that they’re endgame is my comfort thought
April kepner was the opposite of impulsive. Except from when it came to Jackson Avery. With jackson she was sleeping with him going against what she believed and she ran away from her wedding to another man with him. All logic flew out of the window. I want that sort of love.
But their impulsivity was also their downfall because they didn't have a strong enough foundation as a couple. She lost her virginity out of wedlock on the night before the biggest test of their careers, they got married the night after she ran out on her wedding, they got pregnant by accident without having had any conversations about how they wanted to raise a baby, they grieved without the other which made them heal separately and grow apart, and then they divorce without her ever mentioning that she had a baby or how to raise that baby either.
I mean.. I've not been a huge fan of Japril because they've felt so rushed and I didn't like how April just left him for a year and a half after Samuel died. BUT, in re-watching earlier seasons, they had such a sweet friendship and it pisses me off that all that crap had to happen to them. I still think it become a toxic relationship beyond repair - love alone is sometimes not enough - but they really really loved each other.
Beth Darvell I agree at the beginning the Impulsivity was interesting and made them want each other but as their relationship grew they should’ve thought things out first
@@sleep6990 It's so painful re-watching because April and Jackson were both so sweet together and apart but Samuel's death broke both of them. Their characters both changed and I think the part of them that loved each other in the beginning is always going to be there but they are each other's reminder of the worst day of their lives, like recurrent grief. Idk.
I think there was already a lot to explore between them, an Atheist and Christian, rich boy and farm girl, Black and White, Ladies Man and 30 year old virgin.. without having to throw in the worst imaginable pain of watching your baby die in your arms right after he's born. Like wow.
You're right and I get that people can change because of a tragical event but what bothers me is that when you rewatch the episode where they are both in the plane ( season 12 ) they already have a "fight" and Jackson is being stubborn because of his ego while April tries to make compromises and appease the situation.
I feel like this scene reflects how the script has been twisted because it doesn't make sense that Jackson has such behaviour in this scene while he has always been sweet and affectionate towards April. He always seemed to put her first.
Don't you feel like there is a misconnection between the seasons 6 and 12 ?
@@ellaprince7155 you’re right april had an amazing character development from my least fav character to my all time fav but jackson went from okay to good to great to bad and it was sad to see. ik ppl change but they changed his whole demeanour and it was hard to watch how harsh he was to april sometimes in the later seasons. shame rlly they ruined a good character and an even better relationship (the best on the show in my opinion)

their story is one of the most beautiful ever told on television. The amount of chemistry these two actors have is so rare and beautiful it´s a shame their story endet like it did but what a pleasure it was to watch it.

I love this video, but at the same time it breaks my heart. I don't know why Shonda is destroying their love. With everything that Jackson and April went through togethed, their friendship, the death of their friends, the wedding, Samuel, etc, it doesn't feel right that Jackson just gave up. @@debriakwizera8270 What? None of what you wrote was the story, at all. She did choose Jackson initially because he stepped up. There was no choice when she married Matthew. Jackson did not even try and really didn't care and was moving on with Maggie, so her only choice was Matthew. We only saw in Season 15 he had PTSD and came to many realizations about their relationship when it was already too late, but April was written out, so from then on they played Jackson's character with so many relationship problems. It was an endgame, I believe, for Japril. Matthew is not coming back, meaning divorce. April is leaving with Jackson. If she wouldn't go, neither would he. They could've worked out a schedule long distance but that wasn't even an option for Jackson to pursue his dream. He wouldn't ruin her dream for his own, and she didn't want to ruin his dream by staying behind. They most definitely will get back together bc Jackson said his first order of business in Boston was getting the girls settled and happy. He didn't want Koracik on his jet even because April would be there and he didn't want to be tempted to fire him, and Jackson looked ecstatic driving to his new life as Missing Piece played. The only flashbacks from the hospital were when April was working there, except his mom's cancer dance. I call those nuggets of more than likely they are back together
Bro this was one of the best couples it was so rare better than Derek and Meredith I'm one of those weird people so I loved Christina and Owen and they killed both of my favorites couples and I couldn't because they put them with new people so I couldn't watch the show anymore no matter how hard I tried It dosent feel right anymore...😢🤷🏽♀️

Can anyone seriously tell me that Jackson and Maggie can be/do BETTER than THIS??? Where did it all go? I mean I know it’s acting, but you could feel the love just by the way they looked at each other! And the chemistry was real and it’s still there! I swear if she dies I’m DONE for good! After Derek died I told myself “ ok you can do this, maybe you’ll get used to it.” I kept watching for Japril! But now I just can’t anymore! They ruined every great character and every epic love story! I don’t know how Grey’s Anatomy can go on like this. I know it’s “about” Meredith Grey, but some of us don’t just watch because of her. We should seriously consider starting a petition. Lol (actually crying)
I have never thought that the show is all about Meredith okey her name happens to be on the title, but the show started with 5 interns and then the show was introduced as a show about 5 interns, seriously I dont get it that the show would be only about Meredith. I have never watched it for Meredith in the start I liked on all the interns or maybe little bit more on izzie, alex and george. Sometime when April and Jackson became magical Mer became all too full of herself cant really stand her anymore. Havent watched it anymore after they fired Sarah Drew she was the real star it just wasnt worth watching any more without her.

Maggie and Jackson together disgust me. im not kidding i skip every scene when they’re together. april and jackson are not only meant for eachother, they’re soulmates, the love of eachothers lives, the best thing that happened to the other person. You can tell they still and will always love eachother no matter who they date. they ran away together, talked even when april left the show, conforted eachoter, and everytime one of them was in danger or hurt they prayed and cared for eachother. this break and april leaving is worse then derek dying. i honestly dont know if i can finish the show after april left.
