In my opinion the descent from Cruz de Ferro was the toughest on the Camino. You two managed it like champs! In 2024, I will be stopping in El Acebo. I knew that Molly would be getting a cat upon her return. She deserves it....
That does look cold. My go to technique is a knit hat over the ball cap. It’s a look 😂 but it will keep your head warm and the rest will follow. Love the videos!!!!
Love my Monday morning watching you two. What beautiful towns. and love how you're enjoying the walk in all temperatures and different terrain... Great job!!!!
Molinaseca was my Favorite little towns on the camino! Yeah that day was freaking cold, i sleep at the mointain that night. Thank you for the Video ,god Bless you
Thanks for explaining how the backpack delivery works. When/if I get to do the Camino I will likely need that! On the really long or tough terrain days it would be worth every Euro!
Glad it was helpful! I did find it worth it. We were able to finish the Camino without any big injuries. I think me using the backpack delivery on the long days helped.
Enjoyed this one .. Molinaseca looks beautiful. The whole day looked great!! Love your positivity when enduring a cold, bleak day. Good on you 👏 girls.
Enjoying your Camino. Which umbrellas did you two use? I had one made for hiking, that worked pretty good, and it was strong. Unfortunately, I loaned it to a friend, and I don’t think I will get it back in time, before I head to the Portuguese Coastal Camino in 18 days.
I am really enjoying your camino videos, but am overwhelmingly disappointed to discover that you didn't walk with a backpack most of the time. Good for Molly - she was a true peregrina in that respect.
I remember that day so well. Great day, downhill was challenging. You’re correct the view was incredible
Yes it was! The atmosphere of the towns that day was wonderful. Buen Camino.

Wait until you see how the cat situation turns out....
excellent video.. you both tell the story very nicely and make it inviting to keep following your trek ! Nice editing too :- )
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching our videos. We certainly enjoy making them.

I got a neck gaiter for Christmas, so I'll be ready with that, too, next time.

Thanks so much. The next few episodes have a good bit of rain, but that was just part of it. Just wait until you see the cow hiking!

So, you didn't stay in Molinaseca either? I'd like to know if someone stayed there in a place that they would recommend.
@@staceyandmollypilgrims no ,i stay that night at ponferada! Next day Was that day we meet each other at the Bar, there you ask me is that your cat!
All caught up on the videos Stacy. Great job 23 days in. You’ve been so lucky with the weather. Hope we experience the same.
Yes. We were very lucky overall - even though we had a bit of everything. The weather variation just adds to the experience. Buen Camino.

Ohhh, no entrasteis al pequeño reducto de Tomás en Manjarin. Un referente en el Camino.

Thanks, Cathy. We had a lot of interesting weather in the week to come - which was probably our favorite week (including the last couple of days.)
Of this way, I had only seen Cruz de Ferro - the toothache I had in Rabanal forced me to take a car to Ponferrada to see the dentist on Monday.
At 1:23 - The World Famous Cruz de Ferro !!!
I really wish we'd had better weather there, but we had good weather overall, so I can't complain.

We ordered ours off Amazon. I think the brand is Six Moon Designs.
@@staceyandmollypilgrims Thank you for letting me know! 👍🏼

I did what was needed for my feet. No regrets.
