      Eh, he gave it away, restarting high and then not protecting the bottom, letting Rico slide him into turn 1.

    Really proud of my homie Robbie. He did a really good job. It's a shame on the restart, but as I told him tonight, you are getting hot at the right time before the Western swing - right in his wheelhouse.

      You might notice Rico seems to always be bad fast at races that Larson is also at. Silva, Larson, and Rico are pretty tight. I'm not saying Rico isn't fast without Silva's help, but data from two cars is always an advantage.

      Not sure Tanner has the talent to compete at the higher levels. Guess we'll find out. At some point, he'll have to make a decision to continue full time racing, or start learning the family business. Dad probably said 'ok Tanner, I've set you up with this pay to play ride with Shark. If you prove competitive, then great. If not, together we probably need to think more about your future'.

    • @DeanJ.Sullivan
      @DeanJ.Sullivan Рік тому +2

      Give him time,new ride, new learning curve. I thought they said he’s never raced that track before also. His starts in both his heat and B-Main killed his chances of advancing to the A-Main. Like I said, give him some time.

      @chuckg6039 I don't think or believe that dad bought him a ride with shark racing. Tanner is a great driver and does well in his family's car. So what your saying is that he's just paying someone to let him get some outlaw experience. Well if that's the case,your most likely wrong. Tanner had a great showing at Knoxville despite falling short of the transfer spot. Races the caliber of Knoxville not only require skill, but also require a little bit of luck. I'm pretty sure you can agree on that. However if Tanner gt the chance to race for shark, it's because Bobby Allen seen something in Tanner Holmes that you obviously don't. Besides why would his family try to push him away from their own car when he's been doing great all year long. To think that his family set him up to fail is like saying that Nick Macri wants to see Anthony fail just because of a family squabble. Give the kid a break, he has to learn how to work with a team that he's not familiar with now,even though they are an outlaw team don't make the transition any easier. Once he gets acclimated with this team he will be just fine.I actually think his family ride is just as good as the the car he's in now, but this gives him the chance to learn from a group of professionals that have the ability to make him an even better racer than he is now. Like I said, if Allen didn't think he had talent the he wouldn't have been given this opportunity. Shark Racing has obligations to sponsors to keep that cat on the track and they believe that Tanner is capable of doing the job that's why he's in it. I'm sure if he don't perform well enough they will find someone who can. I'm sure that's already been discussed by both parties involved with this adventure. Tanner has the Chace to live out a racers dream so be happy for the kid and let him prove himself.

      1,425 pound minimum weight with driver. They add weight to the car to make it 1,425, a lighter driver will have more weight added.
