And they will tear stuff just being curious and scratching! We have two boers and our fences are woven wire (like your second fence) and it was staples to 4x4 posts and buried 4-6” in the hard clay ground. They have bowed it all out and even knocked some of it completely loose!! Thanks for sharing!!
I’m preparing my yard for Nigerian or Pygmy goats. What gauge fence do you recommend? I was going to do the same concept as you with the T-posts and 2x4 woven fencing.
Yup, yup, yup, yup, and yup. 👍 Pretty much had that all down, guess I'm good to get my goats.😀 Oh, wait, need to put that fence up first! 🤔 O.k., as soon as I get that fence up! (I'm going with the 5 strand electric, mainly because of my terrain)
Since vitamin c works for for only 24 hours after a dosage than would it work longer if you drink goat milk instead of cow milk when suffering a low immunity malfunction? Or goat hormones?
Hi Lance & Marci, oh I love the goats from a distance lol. I have 3 little lap dogs and I am good with that lol. When are you able to start milking your goats and enjoying the milk and cheese? Jenenda 🍅🍅🍅
I think it is about 4 -6 weeks after they are born. We will do some milk sharing at 1st. We will separate the mamma from the babies and milk in the morning and let the little have it the rest of the day.

Your goats sure do appear to enjoy your affection towards them..they know you care💙💖.
Diane Williams they are spoiled! That’s for sure!
Thanks for sharing those helpful tips. We're still cleaning up our land and barn, but I'm fairly certain goats are in my future. :)
Thirteen Moons Homestead Awesome! We love having goats! Wish they would eat the grass more!
We are planning to have a baby goat 🐐

RonBootsFarm some of them can be brutal on fencing! Knock on wood ours hasn’t been that bad!
Great video guys! We went in to goats pretty much winging it, we got lucky with our goats as well. Can't wait to see the baby goats when they come!!!
That is how we did it. I had watched a lot of videos and read a couple of books, but they really don't prepare you for the real thing!
Great facts you two! That's a big misconception, that goats will eat the grass. They're not usually grazers.
Green Dream Project I agree we thought they would eat more grass than they do!
Goats are sooo cute, especially the babies! Love & Hugs from Vicki in Ft. Worth, Texas 🇨🇱
vmorganbogart we are very excited about having baby’s. Fingers crossed!
Shout out to Fort Worth, my fiance and I travel there all the time for work❤

Camppatton Family Compound thank you! Kiko goats will need a bigger and stronger fence!

Honey Hollow Homestead sounds like you are ready!!! Well almost!
Marcie....livestock not pets???? Guess that means livestock can be pets too (: How about definite outdoor pets (: Love, love, love your videos!!
Northstarunlimited56 those are her outside “pets”! We do spoiling them like pets!
Yep, I like the idea of “outside pets”. They are horribly spoiled and Lance can attest that I feel no shame in owning that! 😂
Goats are...interesting 😜
StephT5 they are fun for sure!
Would a vinyl fence be a bad idea?
I would be cautious with a vinyl fence. I don't think it would be strong enough, but I don't have any 1st hand knowledge of how sturdy those are.
Can we train them

Great question, but I do not know.
The more I look into Goats the more I think sheep are A better fit.
They are much better grass mowers, not as good as goats when it comes to clean out brushy areas.
on the back of a turtle 😂
I know right.
How much droppings can I get from 2 goats
A lot. They poop a lot and everywhere.

I am not sure what you mean, you milk momma 4 to 6 weeks after she gives birth? Also, are you guys going to try to make cheese?
Yes, once the babies get a little older we can share some of the milk with the babies. We do plan on making cheese.
I am looking for any farm that can supply few herds to PORT MORESBY, PNG. Please refer me to exporter/s.
My goats love grass
Ours not so much!
I want to start raising goats as a form of income..
it can be done, are you wanting dairy or meat goats? However, it is not cheap!
To be fair... I pee and poop alot too.
Mine eat grass
Turned this video off because of the Super annoying background racket/music.
I'm sorry to hear that.
Hey can I buy one for 1000
We will have some for sale in a couple of months. We have 1 momma about to kid out in 2 to 3 weeks.
you're grass isn't worth eating
