Hey Shrey, I am watching your youtube videos on Salesforce and felt like sending you this message that please never stop teaching. You are an excellent teacher. There are very few teachers in this world who makes the topic so easy for the students to understand. I felt like this is the blessing God gave you as it comes out so organically from you. You are amazing and thank you for this Salesforce teaching revolution 🚀🔥

Another reason why keep data in different tables is security of data.
Take an example of employee data. Employee details like Team, Designation, Manager, email id and contact number can be shared with everyone. However we cannot share Salary, Projects, ratings and other data in the same table. That is another reason we use different tables.

I am bit confused what will be the relationship between teacher and student. As a single teacher can teach to whole class so it will be one-to-many while whole class can be taught by many teachers so it can be many-to-many relationship. Please help me out with this.

In my opinion At a time a teacher can teach many students
We are not checking other time
So I think One(tescher) to many(students) is Right

You should evaluate the relationship in a real time context. For example at the time the class is taugth by a particular Professor, there will only be a one-to-many relationship

As shrey said it all depends on what kind of information you want to Store and derive your relationship from that knowledge.

22:00 This has to do with a particular time. A teacher can teach many students at the same time, so this is a one to many relationship. For a student, he is taught by one teacher at a given time, so this is a one to one.
In order for this to be considered a one to many from student to teachers, then two teachers would have to talk at the same time when teaching the class, which isn't likely.
You are right thought that if you were to store past information, this relationship can be many to many. So it would depend on the context (29:40 with the tire.)

Man your explanation on RELATIONSHIPs is decent but the examples that of:-
    Invoice/Rceipts
    Student/Batch is not acceptable.

    • @yashgandhi3573

If he is explaining for a presence of student in batch he is wrong but if he is saying for enrollment , it is possible for a student to enroll in multiple batches.
