As a Palestinian I never knew how beaatiful Gaelic is until I heard this, looking forward to see more of Irish history/culture. I have many Irish teachers all very nice and respectful one of the few celts remaining in Europe they underwent alot of oppression but in the midst of the dark you would always find the door to light.

I was born in Palestine, West Bank. I learned a lot about the Ireland and their struggle against occupation from Irish and Scottish people who were coming here in Solidarity with the Palestinian people since I was young, and I realised how much these two people have in common and why the Irish people will instinctively be supporting Palestine. I've been a displaced Palestinian my entire life, my mom died dreaming she could take us back to Palestine. Ireland is the only country I saw myself permanently moving to if it were never possible for me to go back into Palestine, but my mom's dream now feels closer than ever.
