I’ve been shooting on SL2 for several years, mainly due to my own budget restrictions, and I love it. It’s definitely not perfect, but I think for such a small, beginner-esque camera, it still packs a LOT of punch
Got to say that I'm still happy with my Canon EOS Rebel SL2 (200D). It replaced a Canon EOS Rebel XSi (450D). Got it second hand about 5 years ago with no lenses. I mainly use a Sigma 17-50 F2.8 EX DC OS HSM lens (Canon mount of course), and have the same set of Canon pancake lenses.
that was my first baby i still have it ,but then i switch to sony ,and became a sony shooter canon is good but when they came up with the RF lines of Lens i ran to sony more opcion in terms of third party lenses.
I still have my SL2. I also have a M6 mark II. The SL2 shoots in live mode like a mirrorless.
I love it still - not as snappy as new cameras but it’s canon…
It’s seriously under rated. More than sufficient for photos and does the bulk of what most people need in video.

Yeah it’s solid - I’m keeping it
Where do you buy used cameras? I'm looking for my daughter who wants to try out photography and maybe so some video.
MPB.com
is it good for travel videos and vlogging? should I upgrade from 600d/ T3i to this?
Its good for vlogging with the correct lens. The 17-55usm is a good all arounder. Its not cheap though.

Is this a good camera for car photography?
sure why not...make sure to use a stabilized lens...a phone is good also.
