Szeth's voice actor is such a treasure. This is exactly how I imagined he would sound like. Anger mixed with disbelief and desperation when faced against someone who is a living proof that Szeth never had to kill anyone. If by any chance there would be any adaptation of these books, any person who plays Szeth is now forever cursed to be compared to this champion
"Give him light" is such an epic moment. I imagine is from the side where they throw spheres at his feet. They light up the way. Such a freaking cinematic fight. Ookf
He was a lot more... severe than I always imagined. I would have expected Szeth's voice to be softer, almost a whisper. Even when he's screaming, I imagined something raspy and hoarse. This guy doesn't sound like that at all.
This scene shows how skilled kaladin really is. Defeating the assassin in white, who has killed several shardbearers at once, and won many impossible fights

In fairness, this wasn’t exactly a fair fight. Not only did Kaladin have access to a shapeshifting weapon, but Szeth was clearly fighting himself as much as he was Kaladin in this scene. I’d be really interested to see how Kaladin would fare against Szeth as he is in RoW (minus Nightblood). I think that fight would probably be a lot less one-sided.
Book 2 is all about the protagonists flexing in the end, in both Mistborn and Stormlight archives. No wonder Well of Ascension & Words of radiance are my favourite Cosmere books 😮💨🔥🔥 By blessings of heralds i need a Kaladin and Vin to meet.

That's largely because they are ludicrously over-priced, so really only the most hardcore (and financially well-off) fans can get them, at least legally.

I removed alot of the extra things going on in the chapter to avoid uploading over 40 minutes of book. Everything between Kaladin and Szeth is there though. Graphic Audio does make small changes sometimes. What are you referring to exactly?
@@AudioImagination Here Kaladin cuts Seth's hand, he then unbonds the honorblade and drops it, falling to his presumed death. I dont remember the lines about kaladin feeling pity or sil saying that seth unbonded the blade. In the audible version kaladin severs either his spine or heart. Only a minor change, in the grand scheme of things it dosen't matter, just found it curious
It's really a shame that GA over-prices their audiobooks so much. If they charged a reasonable price for them, they would easily put the standard versions you get on Audible out of business.
I think you underestimate the work that goes into this. The music, sfx and for every character a voice actor/actress. Then mixing it together. Repeat that for like 10 hour lenght. The normal audio books are only 2 narrators, without music or soundeffects.

Orders of magnitude more money goes into the making of a Hollywood film than goes into making a Graphic Audio, and yet you don't see DVDs being sold for $200. The same exact principle applies here: GA charges vastly more for their products than even most die-hard audiobook fans are willing to pay for, and quite frankly it incentivizes people to try and get pirated copies of them. No matter how you look at it, it's just a really bad business strategy.
@@fanghur you know why? Because the producers know the dvds are going to be bought by alot of people. They dont have to set the price high. But this is such a niche audiobook. You cant expect them to make their money back if they sold it for like 30 dollars. Theres too few people who buy these

Yeeeeah, you’re either really going to be on board with something like this or it’s just gonna feel stupidly over the top. With no visuals to go off of, these big, bombastic moments need everything channeled vocally, and that results in a whole lot of ham and cheese in the performances. I enjoy these clips on UA-cam, but I think the Kramer-Reading audiobooks are a better package in terms of letting the text speak for itself.

This is so epic it was The best fight i ever read.
