She was gonna scare the living daylight out of Nick, ended up getting scared herself when realizing he was a grimm. Oh the irony!
she didn't do the full on woge where normal humans could see it. instead it was the emotional woge that comes out involuntarily and only wesen and grimms can see it. Notice hank was looking at nick since he picked that nick could see she was wesen from her reaction
I wish nick used the fact he's a grimm more often, he wouldn't even have to do much just say a few things and let them fill in the gaps, like "I'm sure you've heard stories about grimm but I'm different, or at least I could be" or "Im a cop before I'm a grimm but that could change"
That happens a lot.
Grimms are essentially the ultimate UNO Reverse card for Wesen.
Probably the best Wesen-meets-Grimm scene of the whole series. The fear in her eyes is undeniable and the way she starts singing when he says "I can come back as a Grimm" is awesome.
I love that line, "I can come back as a Grimm."

Rosealee is legit the best character in this show. She had a crappy past but she got up and over it and made a life for herself and now has a group of peo o le who love her Shady past and all

Well, this sounded terribly noble to the boy, and he ran and fetched the captain his red shirt, proud to serve such a man. The battle was fought and won.
It turned out that single enemy vessel had only been a scout; the next morning, there was a whole fleet on the horizon. And the captain ordered the cabin boy to fetch him his brown pants~

And that's exactly why you got to love Rosalee. And she is perfect for Monroe. She completes him in ways another wesen couldn't.
Nick played both good cop and bad cop on this one. Hank was looking as if thinking "So, you're both good cop and bad cop?".
More loke good cop, worst nightmare. She was scared out of her mind. Bad cop might need to use a few threats to intimidate the suspect. Nick could scare her just by looking at her. I think even the toughest gang leader would be scared and move to the back.
Monroe's absolutely instantaneous "not me" is the perfect example of just how absolutely in love he is. :P

I agree with those complimenting the actress displaying fear when she sees Nick's a Grimm. But I also want to point out Nick's reaction when she woged -- nothing. Unflinching, just a cold, hard stare. Nick can look intimidating just as a man. Imagine adding to that the eyes that Wesen see.
Actually I noticed that he made his eyes BIGGER when he leaned in to talk to her. Since Wesen can see Grimms because their eyes turn BLACK like a bottomless pit void, I'm sure he did this on purpose! hahahahaha
Hank is one of the best characters of the series (besides Monroe), and the actor is so great!

There would be a spin-off with Theresa "Trubel" as lead actor Grimm. But thought it was canceled? Hope they will continue some day! The Grimm had a great storyline..... love it.
the spin off didn't mention the female grimm from what i read. as for its status the canceleation hasn't been confirmed nor progress. so it seems stuck due to the airborne chinese aids outbreak.

Story time: I was a huge fan of this show before. I mean HUGE fan! But then i saw the guy who plays Monroe at a Shen Yun show at the Dolby theatre. It took all my strength to just come up to him and say hi and to tell him that I’m a big fan. And maybe score a selfie. he just gave me a nasty look and walked away. I was shocked and i couldn’t even move. my family came and asked what happened and I just can’t say anything. I’m still trying to process it myself. it was my first time coming up to a celebrity because I’m usually embarrassed and extremely shy. lesson learned. i guess I was disappointed in a way. 😔

Remember, CELEBS get harassed ALL THE TIME. It may seem HARMless to you, but sometimes you just catch them on a bad day. Before he passed, I ran into Sean Connery and he was in a really foul mood (this was back in the 1990s). Since I was working on a set that he was on, I couldn't avoid him, but I never got in his way. Turns out that he had a splitting migraine, so I forgave him for being 'short' with folks. Don't take just ONE bad encounter as indicative of how the person is all the time. I'm sure YOU've been in a bad mood or the day wasn't going right and you didn't want to talk to anyone. I've been there, I'm sure you have too.

Because they quite literally used to chop the head off any Wesen they met, on top of being stronger, faster and more durable than most Wesen, having resistances to most of their abilities and being able to see Wesen without any problems. On top of that, they used to work for the Royal Families, who had a tendency of murdering and torturing anyone who ever even hinted at crossing them, even for imagined slights. That enough reasons?
Start watching season one - you find the clips on rhe Grimm channel. It will help you understand.
plus, when wessen look nto a grimms eyes they see the grims eyes go pitch black with their own true nature reflected back at them within an endless abyss, along with a sensation that feels like their souls are trapped within said abyss. very primal fear stuff.
