What an awesome arvo! Those GTs are unbelievable fun in the estuary, you did well to keep that big cod out of his hole! What a way to finish the session with that beautiful Jew!
@@RaplynFishing thanks for sharing! :) I never realised GTs get down that way! I'm in Brisbane but have family in Coffs/Toormina. So will definitely have to make some more trips down!
Haven't done a whole lot of beach fishing in Urunga but it's not too hard to ring the usual suspects ,bream flathead and whiting ,there's a few tailor around as well , thanks for watching 👍
Nice Cod mate👍👍Great session. Been some nice jacks caught up past the bridges up both arms last few weeks. I think this cold weather and southerlies is not helping. Strange conditions for Xmas???
Thanks mate , strange indeed, I think the jacks will fire up as soon as this cold spell is done and the wind stops blowing at 10000 knots 🤣 doesn't seem to worry the GTs too much though 🤣
daiwa revros 2500 reel with 20ib finns braid and an Abu promax 5-8kg rod and 50ib fc rock leader almost locked drag and they were still pulling string!!
I live just around the cnr from there. Still learning the fishing spots. Thanks for sharing.
