An ex nearly torpedoed my current relationship. I'm sleeping and a message comes in on my phone. The message goes "I'm horny." I laugh to myself and just go back to sleep. I get up a few minutes later, look at the message, delete that shit and keep it moving. A few minutes later, my girl says if I'm not going to respond to the message. It went downhill from there.

And it's like, I'm here, not guilty of shit, but having to fight cause it "looks" like I'm guilty. At the end of the day, she was like, it's going to take time to rebuild the trust. Fam, after a few fews, I got fed up, I felt like I was serving a sentence for a crime I didn't commit. Sadly, I agree with Jaii on the communicating with exes piece. I think there has to be clear/solid boundaries or cut all communication, even if kids are involved. My baby father and I are not on speaking terms because every 5-6 yrs he try me and I have to make it clear please do not play with me! People, especially men, struggle with respecting boundaries in these regards at times!
