Jung called them the collective unconscious.
Yes he did. And I disagree with Jung. I don't think this work should be called that. These are very real Spirits and Spiritual realities. They are not simply a psychological extension of humanity's me-me-me-centrism. These are real relationships we are talking about... Jung was a man of his time, and his work has been used as a way for Indigenous Spiritual Traditions and Knowledge to find themselves 'acceptable' within a Western psychoanalytic framework, and I think at this point, globally, we need to start going to the source and calling things by name, instead of trying to make them fit a 20th Century, Western psychological reality.
