My birthday is September 5, I turned 9 when this show took place! On the day I was born, Daddy sat down and cried. There was also a time and space, where my eyes looked through my mother's face.
Most Auspicious. We have all been each others. MOTHERS. Keep coming back like leap frogs thru the BuddhaVerse...ommm. "bye Mom!" By the way, ua-cam.com/video/-EuvgrPOPeg/v-deo.htmlsi=iroPi1gPs8ZEk3Yk
This may not have been anywhere near their best shows, but it does hold a special place in my heart….. because it was my first Grateful Dead concert. I think the only song that they did that night that I knew at that time was Good Lovin’. . I look forward to having a chance to relive it with a sdbd recording.
LOVE it high energy 1st year i saw them lol after this show Portland Never knew what hit me 🚍🐻🏴☠️🎆 but it felt pretty darn good, and thats just the music TY TY, Short note on BP I never talked much during shows, usually found a spot in front of the tapers, but far enuff away. After 1 Black Peter all I could say to my friend was "That was the Blackest Peter I have ever heard"
Thanks for sharing another show that's new to me in such a terrific format. I'd love to hear that Eyes at about 4/5 the speed that it is, but a ton of fun anyway. It reminds me of some of the Playing outros as they head into drums that happened in '79.
Got me reaching for the “stubs” I gno itz a red MSG 😚💨💨👉😋❤️🔥👍 Sez $11.00>WED EVE Sept 5 1979,Pref2 >enter; Tower ‘B’ Gate 11Loge 17c row B Seat 3 It poured -Near Hurricane rain~ We came out tripping to find power-washed NY City Streets👈Itz all fine mid~century haze😎

@@LostMyDayJob you have a great weekend too, buddy 👍🎵🎸🍻
"Grateful"ly appreciated for sure. One of my favorites is the harmonies that Brent/Donna were screaming in the late 70's. Thx again, Later, Peace.
the shows just keep coming today🙌⚡✨✨✨ grateful friday today 😊thanks for sharing l.m.d.j ⚡✨✨
This is fuckin' amazing. Tightness of '77 and energy of the 80s. You can tell the boys were serious about this one.
