Another insightful video! Appreciate the effort and amazing work behind it. However, I have a question regarding the volume indicator: Would there be a difference if we were to use a 20day volume MA instead of 100days? Also, would the stock selection strategy in entirety be applicable to trading the S&P 500 ?
Thanks so much Jonathan 20 Day Volume MA would show you spikes more often. This "could" distort things a little. Try 50 MA instead. This should be good enough. Regarding stock selection, this would work in any market. Just focus on stocks that are highly liquid.

Hello,I have a Query. But before that I went through Complete Intraday playlist this Weekend. Hats off to your representation and your sincerity. I took much help from SIP series and started that. Now I really wish that i could be able to generate income and be full time trader slowly. Query is You mentioned keep 10-15 stocks through Primary and Secondary list. You also mentioned unless you narrow down your watch list, your learning curve will never reduce. Then in step 4 you mentioned only focus on stocks that are near 52 week high or low . but these will change over period of time. Please clear the doubt.
Hi Sanjeev, To keep things very simple, focus on top 10 stocks that are near 52 W high or lows. This list does not change that often and you have to scan it once in 15 days. If you are starting out in Intraday trading, then simply trade Bank Nifty for the first 6 months. Just get the hang of day trading first and then you can move to stocks. Hope this helps.
You have stated for 5 Mts Chart but For AVerage you have not mentioned whether it is EMA or SMA or what period. Suggest that Settings may be repeated at leat 2 times during video. Excellent .. I am learning this in Lockdown time.. gaining knowledge on new area. Your methodology and explanations are superb.
Thanks Sanjeev Rastogi.. Watch these playlists in the sequence I have given below. I have explained everything in great detail. Places where I have not mentioned EMA/SMA or time frame is because I dont want your focus on these things. Thanks Sanat. For volatility, use the code below in trading view dot com. OI related data can be found on NSE site or you can use paid websites like Myfno or Sensibull. one of the best video on stock selection,,,thanx a ton...actually m not getting the historical volatility code for trading view,,,can you please help me out on this,,
Great playlist is this, thanks for all your efforts. As you mentioned we can ask queries please help me with below queries : 1. 100 DMA moving average on volume chart should be simple/exponential or smoething else ? I tried to apply 100 DMA(on volume) but in most stocks its low and almost everyday volume is above it. Selection of stocks on basis of this criteria is very confusing. Please guide if I am missing something. 2. Not able to see code for tardingview.in for historical volatility. Please share. I got "Historical Volatility" indicator in zerodha IQCharts. Please guide if its same as your code and can be used. 3. Are all the charts for intraday selection seen on 1 day time frame(TF) ? or some other TF is also suitable like hourly ? 4. How to gather past 6 months rollover data ?
Very good video! Two questions: 1) You suggest we avoid stocks when historical volatility is moving down. Instead of avoiding, will it make sense to short the stock? 2) Where do I get current and 6 months average rollover data? I checked Apps like QuantsApp and StockEdge. I do not see them.

However, I have a question regarding the volume indicator: Would there be a difference if we were to use a 20day volume MA instead of 100days? Also, would the stock selection strategy in entirety be applicable to trading the S&P 500 ?
Thanks so much Jonathan
20 Day Volume MA would show you spikes more often. This "could" distort things a little. Try 50 MA instead. This should be good enough.
Regarding stock selection, this would work in any market. Just focus on stocks that are highly liquid.

A) Which platform should I use to find all the indicators to build my setup/scanner., eg: Investing, Barchart, Finviz, or TradingView. PS: I only trade in the US market
B) What is the specific indication I can use for Step 2,3,4, & 6
Step 2 Open Interest
Step3 Volatility
Step 4 52 Week High
Step 6: Demand & Interest
Thank You in advance
Hello,I have a Query. But before that I went through Complete Intraday playlist this Weekend. Hats off to your representation and your sincerity. I took much help from SIP series and started that. Now I really wish that i could be able to generate income and be full time trader slowly.
Query is
You mentioned keep 10-15 stocks through Primary and Secondary list. You also mentioned unless you narrow down your watch list, your learning curve will never reduce.
Then in step 4 you mentioned only focus on stocks that are near 52 week high or low . but these will change over period of time.
Please clear the doubt.
Hi Sanjeev,
To keep things very simple, focus on top 10 stocks that are near 52 W high or lows.
This list does not change that often and you have to scan it once in 15 days.
If you are starting out in Intraday trading, then simply trade Bank Nifty for the first 6 months.
Just get the hang of day trading first and then you can move to stocks.
Hope this helps.
@@TradeWithTrend Thank you Sir,
Going through now Bank Nifty Trading Strategy Playlist.

I use trading view for charting and I'm unable to see the RS indicator, Open interest, roll over data, volume profile, multiple month open interest for an instrument (for month end analysis), etc. Please suggest dinner resources for it.

You Can view RS (Relative Strength) on Trading View Dot Com
You can use the code below.
study("Comparative Relative Strength", shorttitle="RS")
a = tickerid
b = input("NIFTY", type=symbol)
as = security(a, period, close)
bs = security(b, period, close)
plot(as/bs, title="RS", color=gray)

For March series while studying stock....Dabur--- Vol is above 100SMA, price is near 52 week high, Volatility on expiry was down but for March it's increasing, OI is up, Deman supply candle is visible, stock in uptrend ..I think most of parameter are qualifying for stock selection...Now which side trade to open how decide how to decide??Or is this to decide after stock open at 9:15am
Try and select some other Stock. Mostly high beta. Dabur does not move that much in day trading.

Thank you for this wonderful video. I am just watching all your videos on Intraday strategies. Please explain more on Roll over data. Also, how to organise roll over data for the last 6 months where to get these data or if you have already done a video on this please provide a link
Amazing Video !!! Very valuable information. Please also describe where we can get the following information: 1) Open Interest chart
2. Volatility (ATR is Ok or there are some other indicators for volatility.)
3. Rollover data
4. 52 Week high -low(Apart from NSE, any other website)
5. Volume- Stock volume get easily. Wanted to know how we can get the Nifty Volume.
Thanks in Advance,
Sanat
Thanks Sanat. For volatility, use the code below in trading view dot com. OI related data can be found on NSE site or you can use paid websites like Myfno or Sensibull. For Nifty volume, you need to get EOD data with registered NSE Vendor. Try Viratech for this. Roll over links I am compiling. Will post it in sometime.

I have gone through many of your videos multiple times as the Fundamental knowledge of Price action and trading that is explained is unparalleled to any content i have come across. Even the books suggested by you in a special video are very informative and important to build a trading aptitude. I am working on better understanding the candlestick patterns (the way you understand the market moves after entering a trade) to improve my odds in trading and improve my trading with each session. Great playlist is this, thanks for all your efforts. As you mentioned we can ask queries please help me with below queries :
1. 100 DMA moving average on volume chart should be simple/exponential or smoething else ?
