Hi Andrew, Welcome back and great to see you are looking well. I'm very much looking forward to the Jutland 'Ships of War', I'm sure I won't be disappointed. All the best, Doug
Hi Doug, Thank you, and I hope you're well too. Very much looking forward to seeing you in a week and a bit! I'm hoping to record the next 'Ships of War' on Friday, so look out for it on the weekend :) All the best, Andrew
Fantastic to see you back on the channel again! We had a great summer and in wargaming I picked up and have been having a fun time with GMT’s Beneath the Med. Now I’m on the order list for the next printing of Silent Victory.
Thanks so much! It's great to be back :) Really glad to hear you've had an enjoyable summer, and sounds like you've been having a nice load of sub-surface warfare to keep you busy. Funnily enough, I met someone at a conference in Holland who a) lives quite close to me and b) has the original 'Silent Victory' and 'Gato Leader'. I've been invited over to his to have a bash at both sometime :)
@@andrewchoong2895 ah, that’s very cool. You mentioned in your video you’d be playing sub games, I love that it includes Silent Victory. I’ll look forward to your thoughts.
Hi Andrew, fabulous to have you back! Looks like you're going to be busy, but please try and fit another Heroes of Normandie report in, my boys and I love them!
Hi Chris! Thanks very much indeed, and I hope you and your folks are well. There is in fact a slot for another Heroes of Normandie effort on the list - I'll try and chop my way towards it pronto. It does deserve another play, and I have missed it!
Welcome back and yes i did spend a lot of tine gaming and also got tons of new games, everything seem to got released at the same tine 😊 Glad to hear your work went well, enjoy your rest time
Thanks so much, and congratulations on what sounds like a good haul of games - it certainly has been a great year for tempting new titles 😀 The project was great fun, thanks, but I think I am ready to get back to normal life now...and more gaming!
Welcome back my friend. I’m really glad all went well with your project. We’re all looking forward to the Warfighter posting. We have all the Warfighter except the Mediterranean and fantasy editions. I just purchased Old School Tactical Vol 4 this week, have you had the opportunity to check out any Flying Pig Games? This has become my new favourite game company. Please send our regards to the family and Ian. Take care Russ and family
Hello Russ! Thanks so much for your lovely message, and please pass our warmest best wishes to your lovely family too. I've forwarded your greetings to Ian as well. I'll aim to choose a good mission on Warfighter. I only own Pacific and its expansions although I have played Europe in the past. I must confess to not having played any titles by Flying Pig Games, but I have been eyeballing their American Civil War titles and Old School Tactical - Vol 3 in particular with my great love of all things Pacific. Might put that on my Christmas list. Hope you're all doing well and having a good autumn. All Best, Andrew, Claire & Anna xxx
Well HELLO Andrew!!! So nice to see the channel (aka you) back on air and even more so to see that you clearly had time away well spent on a project that was dear to you. Truly hope that the family was able to participate / tag along to some degree as well to share in the whole experience with you. Thanks also for the preview of coming attractions and of those I’m most interested to see the vids on Warfighter. I’ve watched a few but remain unmoved away from my love of Up Front, the granddaddy or perhaps great granddaddy now of WW II card format games. Per that, I’ll again register my vote (plea) for a return sooner than naught of Sgt. Choong and the lads, at least for a quick campaign and would then welcome your analysis / comparison with Up Front. FYI - my last campaign effort with Para’s of the 101st played during early June in sync with the actual landings did not fare well at all. German snipers feasted most uncannily on my NCO’s for 3 of the 4 missions ran and the final effort to take out a Jerry pillbox did the boys in with all but 2 falling victim to a deadly accurate MMG. End of squad. They fought gallantly and with valor. May they rest in peace.
HELLO JEFF!!!! Lovely to be back in touch with you too, and I hope you've had a brilliant summer. The project was brilliant but sadly I had to leave the girls behind when I was out and about. We did manage to get some time in last month, which was something, but I owe them a decent holiday next year. Agreed, Warfighter does not come close to Up Front in terms of being a good simulation of individual infantrymen in WWII. It is fun to play, but it does also have some unusual mechanics which I think Up Front handles a bit more realistically. Not to say it's a bad game, but when you compare it to UF.....On the subject, I'm very sorry to hear of what befell your boys from the 101st. All credit to them for doing their best against heavy odds. I really must rouse Sgt Choong and the boys to head out and settle the score - not to mention there's still a lot of the planet that needs liberating in late 1944! I've not really touched UF much this summer, much to my regret. I'm going to have to remedy this sooner...
@@andrewchoong2895 Cheers on all counts!!! FYI - currently engaged with 2 Facebook group campaigns - one for B-17 Queen of the Skies and the other for Western Front Ace - and enjoying them immensely, especially the narrative aspects AND challenges of just surviving.
@@jeffprincevalle1301 Good luck with those! I've still to try Western Front Ace but have always adored B-17! Personal best at the moment is sixteen missions before the inevitable happened.....
Thanks so much, and it's great to be back in touch! Yes, I am a very fortunate fellow. It's been an awesome project, but I have been looking forward to getting back to this :)
Thanks so much, Jane, and equally glad to see you're putting up splendid content on yours too ♥. Please feel free to keep and use "overjoy" - I shall be using it more often in conversation! xx
Really glad to be back, thanks, and hope you've had a good summer/autumn! Yes, I do plan to revisit Up Front (I knew what you meant 😁), but I'll spend the rest of this year catching up on bad debts on the 'to do' list. 🙂
Very good to see you again. And thanks for taking up Jutland. 👊🏼
Great to see you too, Alan, and always a pleasure. I'm hoping to do more WWI naval stuff in the near future :)
Hi Andrew,
