Great video! I love the Blue Whale in Catoosa, cool retro place for sure! Saw some people fishing there when i visited. I wish I could eat like you guys do hahaha ! Great to watch all the fun little snacks and stops . Keep up the videos :)
I’ve watched and enjoyed your videos for several weeks now. Your white(ish) wrap with the black wheels and dark trim looks awesome! Just today, I ordered a white 2025 model Y performance and used your referral code - thanks for the discount! Can’t wait to stormtrooper this thing out!!! 👍🏼.

I love these videos, they hold me over from my yearly road trip from Oregon to Texas. Plus this year will be the first year I do it in a Tesla, I can't wait till this summer!
These road-trip videos are SO fun to watch. You two are a riot and so cute together. We took a road-trip in our little Model 3 from Indio, CA to Colorado Springs, CO and charged at both the Holbrook, AZ and Milan, NM chargers. That trading co place is really interesting. Great video, thanks again!!
Jojo (sometimes) always has a good attitude , my dad told three things will reveal the “true” person; drinking, gambling and travel You have a great travel experience !!
I love how you always get with a higher percentage than what it expects for you to have at your destination. Do you use autopilot or fsd when you take your trips?
Yeah my daughter lives in Flagstaff and told me about it. Luckily she lives on the other end of town and they have Superchargers there as well by NAU and it doesn’t smell at all.
westbound coming into Flagstaff does have a shortcut to the Eastside charger that skips the traffic lights and can save a ton of time during rush hours. Try it next time!
NIce video. I am going to use my MYP on our next trip. I haven't done any long trip as I am more worried about a flat tire. I am planning to get 18" Falken WIldpeak A/T tires, so let us see. Maybe worth showing the total cost of charging at the end of the trip.
I've done many trips from San Diego to Kansas City and most say the prettiest way to to is up I-15 and across I-70 through Utah and Colorado but I think I actually enjoy going the route 66 way the most. I've only done one trip that way with my Tesla and all chargers and locations were fine except in Needles. The chargers there are behind an abandon shopping area and lots of strange people walking around, felt sketchy. You're lucky you don't stop there.
I stop at Springfield IL every month on my way back home; not my favorite, but very conveniently located on the highway. Had been excited to see you stopping off in Fenton MO (around corner from me); that Wally’s is a great place to stop - but the navigator reorganized your route after that 0% arrival in Illinois. Arriving at 13% at McRee (St. Louis) means you could have made it to Fenton easily instead.
I’ve never been to a Buccee’s, but I’ve been told Wally’s is very similar. Beef jerky lunch meat type counter, pizza, ice cream, pulled pork sammiches, etc.
Clean video editing views. Gas vehicle, we made a trip this summer from Tx-TN-Michigan took two days. Then back, went towards MISS-OK-Tx, two days. Very cool too, took close to the same amount of time when you hit Amarillo, Tx from Illinois in a Tesla. Looking to get a Tesla. Tesla Certified are good prices instead of new price. More work purpose but after this could be for trips. Also, how you said from gas to EV road trips what are your Pro’s and Con’s for that? Thanks for your time, sir.
Welcome to the club! I had a 0% arrival at the Buc-ee's in Richmond, Kentucky in November. Got a Facebook like from Kyle Conner himself, so I feel like an official member of the club with welcoming privileges.
Rolla (Rawl-uh)’s v2 chargers are painfully slow, especially since it’s full a lot of the time; you missed out on St. Roberts’ brand new V3.5 by a couple weeks. Until Saint Roberts, it was the only supercharger between Fenton and Springfield, so got congested a lot. No SC in Jeff city to the north didn’t help anything, though rumors have it that one is coming for our capital.
Question: Why do you want to get to the next charger with so little charge in your battery? Is it just because the battery charges faster when its state of charge is low, so you can get back on the road faster?
Don’t rely on the buffer after multiple supercharging sessions in a row. When you repeatedly drive, charge, and drive again without allowing the car to charge to 100% to recalibrate, the BMS can become unreliable. This was demonstrated in real life during the I-90 Surge by Out of Spec, where it happened to their Lucid.
Don't own a tesla but I don't understand why your leaving and going anywhere that you might only have 6% . What happens if you run into a traffic jam/ accident and your delayed sitting going no where for awhile?
As much as I’d like to join the “zero” club, I’m a little too risk adverse and settle for high single digits! It’s offputting to see Holiday Inn and other hotel chains trying to monetize destination chargers that used to be free;the rates they charge are not much cheaper than Superchargers, anyway!
@@vegasteslafamily Can you start at a SOC (80% or more) then drive as you do until below 20% and then 1:37 charge back to the starting SOC and report how many miles you went and actual Kw added to get back to starting SOC? YEEEEEESSSS rooooooooaaaaaaadddd trip! Love it ❤️
Lmao just for you!

Fun trip as usual! Loved the whale’s Christmas decorations. 🤣 Happy New Year!
Haha right! Those were something else
Fun video!! You all need to do more of these. Doesn't have to be a long road trip.
Thanks! We are planning a shorter trip soon.
Love the video next time in st. Louis. There’s a Tesla charging station at the Wally’s in Fenton.
We noticed that! Next time for sure
I like the road map imagery... nice work.
Glad you liked it! 😎

I love how you always get with a higher percentage than what it expects for you to have at your destination. Do you use autopilot or fsd when you take your trips?
I don’t know about always but it’s always close! Haha. And yes we use autopilot pretty much the entirety of the highway
The smell at that stop in Flagstaff is the Purina dog food manufacturing building close to those Superchargers.
Man that place stinks so bad!!!
Yeah my daughter lives in Flagstaff and told me about it. Luckily she lives on the other end of town and they have Superchargers there as well by NAU and it doesn’t smell at all.
Ughhh I remember stopping there lol. I was trying to out drive a snow storm and it was very windy.
Which stop??

Yeah but we don’t mind usually when we eat at bandana’s! But a faster charger would for sure be helpful

@vegasteslafamily Thanks!
Big fan of the annual blue whale stop🐋
Thanks! As am I haha

So close to 10K subs!!!!
Thanks for the support!
Oh No, Bandana’s BBQ…😧
Buccee’s Yes!😃
Bandana’s about to lose some business 😭
Are you gonna get the newly refreshed model Y when it releases
Likely not!
If you guys don't have a LFP battery. Don't let the battery go under 10% . Actually causing damage.
Only rarely on road trips the battery will be just fine!
Instead of showing about the chargers and car show us the places you visit thats what make roadtrip vidoes fun to watch
Haha will show more things around for sure!
I'm the same way. I get free SC and will never pay for any charging anywhere else. Just morals.
Haha right!
Not bad
Haha thanks
2:03 A beautiful Cybertruck??!! I think you have a sight problem...
Typical comment

Actually the slower you go the less battery you use!
What wipers do you have on?
The normal ones!
With all the travel get fsd !
Autopilot is just fine!
Why don’t you like getting to chargers with a lot of battery?
it charges slower
@ gotcha, thanks!
Lower the battery, faster the charge!
WOO HOO....
Haha thanks!!
Did you see the site of the very first gunfight in the US at Springfield, MO? Wild Bill Hickock killed a guy trying to ambush him.
Did not know about this!
I stress out at 30% 😂😂
Lmao gotta trust!
What range do you get on your model y?
Ah honestly can’t give an accurate answer we’ve never had a chance on this trip to charge close to 100 the arrive with almost 0
Can you make a video totally draining the batteries for some accurate info. Guaranteed to get lots of views!
Hmm maybe! What exactly do you have in mind? And if it doesn’t do well will you watch it 10,000 times 😂
I have a referral code can I post it here to get some supercharger credits ?
Haha sure!

That’s a fat beaver 🤣

Don’t think so! Maybe a new 3 though 👀

Oh we have consequences too haha

Haha true
