I literally took notes from primroses everything you need to know videos and some exam practice and cue cards and I got two grade 8s in combined science today no joke. I’m sure I would have not got that if I didn’t use this channel. Thank you so much xxx
I am getting level 6 and i want to get 9 , doing gcse next year and i feel like i can never get a 8 or 9 , science is so hard no matter how hard i revise i forget them after a week
Maybe try different revision techniques? If you're having trouble remembering information, make flashcards and test yourself a little everyday. If you get it right, put a tick on the flashcard and if you get it wrong put a cross. Then slowly you'll start to see which ones you're fine with and can focus on the ones you find harder. Also, make cheesy analogies - my teacher did this for collision theory and I will never forget it haha. Good luck:)

Primros, even as an adult, I continue to feel extremely anxious about everything including studying. I am still trying to learn how to actually, effectively, smartly, properly study for GCSEs never mind all the rest. I am feeling alien to it all even though I've been to school and adult learning college. Before things like UA-cam and the internet in general, people were acing their exams easily and moving on swiftly to college, uni and well paid working life. Is there something wrong with me? How did all the people who pass with flying colours easily & everytime know just how to amd what to do whilst balancing a social life, family life, holidays, paying bills, other personal endeavours, whilst revising for and passing exams just like that? I question such things all the time, even whilst trying to study although I've still got nothing done and it's February. I've been stuck in a vicious, prolonged, scary rut of dumbness, confusion, stress and failure for years and I need major help. I ask tutors for help, classmates, and the internet. I can't think if anyone who wants, needs and deserves to pass these damn gcse exams more than me right now, truly. My concentration is not great obviously and regardless of how much I prepare or meditate or relax ir eat and drink healthy or exercise or visualise or affirm etc, when I'm say at the desk whether indoors, cafes, at home, at college and public libraries or wherever I go outside, my focus on what I should be doing is just never existent! I wouldn't say I'm completely incompetent. You know, I'm alright with reading, even if slow paced, basic 1 mark answers (only after getting it wrong then memorizing right answer after 50 tries). I understand the baby steps like the very basics like read revision guides, use internet resources, look at spec, past papers and mark schemes etc but when it comes to structuring, planning, executing, focusing, memorizing,I don't have a clue. It's like I'm from another planet . Sorry to be so honest about how dumb I am, but I'm going by the 'better to ask than stay dumb' kind of advice and it's now February, TIME is ticking! Argh! Why? I have all the stationery and time I could ever want right now but I don't know how to use this precious, golden, remaining time. Any successful last minute tips and tricks would be very appreciated to help this lost soul. How to focus, stay motivated, know what to do, structure, plan, execute, memorise and pass this damn bio exam? I'm a lot older than GCSE school leavers & still I feel like everyone who is passing has a differently wired brain and secrets to success that I don't have a clue about and quite frankly I'd like to know what Im missing out on and how I too can quickly become a genius A* student. P.S. I watch your videos religiously. Thanks in advance.
Nopeeee u can defo achieve a grade 7 if u pull urself together and work hard for it. Make the grade 7 ur motivational tool whenever u feel like ur demotivated x
I dont understand when you guys (teachers) say that we should revise a lot because the grade boundaries are going to get higher, if they do so that means that the test is going to be easier... The grade boundaries are inversely proportional to how hard the test is.
Tallulah Toms once the whole country has taken the exam, the papers will be marked and an average score will be made depending on how good or poorly the country did. Then the grade boundaries will be decided from there. It's something like that.
@@ellieharries17 Exactly.. that means that you should not technically worry too much about grade boundaries because if they are high is because everyone did good so theoretically the test would be easier, so if you work hardly enough it is guaranteed that you are going to do well..
mee too! i have totally lost motivation because ill never get 54 or 55 and there is less than a month left. ive been getting 48 to 50 on all my c1 and b1 exams but i totally fail physics im getting like 30's.

will the grade boundaries actually be that high!?! why!?!
Apparently it will because we're the last year to do the spec. 😥😥😥
ikr wtf
Nailah Jr how does that make sense? I don't understand why?
