I know how you got thumbnail! The blocks and spikes are FAKE! I've made fake blocks and fake spikes before and I can tell the difference between normal ones and fake ones! How I can tell: Normal ones have thicker outlines unlike those ones, the black part of the blocks are transition to see through too quickly! If you want to know how to make them well you need to make a cube made of the 3d objects, then you put a normal sized black neon thingy in the cube upsidedown, copy it as much as you want to make it darker! You can even have the black a little see through and copy it more to be more exact! Then make a color that copy's the background color but a little bit see through (Around 75 of ocopacity) and make a normal side up neon thing in the cube using the see through BG color and poof! Now for spikes, the only difference is it's too dark to be a regular spike! How to make the fake spikes is to take the fake spikes and put the 3d lines on the edges presisly so it looks real and done! Well, now you know how he made the fake blocks and you also know how the thumbnail is possible, unless you smiled to the bottom of the comment, that is!
