I've heard this instrumental so many times, and had no idea it was from a Jay Z album 🤣
300 Bars And Runnin, The Oracle and They Call Me F.L.I.P. all originated from this. Nas still won the beef with Ether and people already chose him when this dropped but this is still a classic diss and criminally underrated. This beat is definitely one the best beats in hip hop especially when it comes to diss tracks. Still one of Jay-Z’s best songs. R.I.P. Ennio Morricone.
