With the skilled joiners and cabinet makers, Guyana doesn't need Ashley furniture. Guyanese craftsmen will lose . Let's support the local furniture making industry
Old skill quality merchandise will last a long time. 21 Century a lot of modern builds are chipboard and plastic it looks nice but it fades brake look worn in months to a few years sometimes.
Great job, Philip. You have done an awesome job at showcasing this event once more. There are some really nice displays there. I have never experienced this event. Great work by everyone who has contributed to make it a success. Have a wonderful night ❤👍🏽👍🏽💪💪🙏🙏💯💯🇬🇾🇬🇾
Nice designs! With the multi-billions oil dollars flowing through Guyana, the government could rebuild the poor people's homes with the prefab technology, and improve their lives.
$125,000 US for this house. The question is, is it worth $125,000 US considering that wages and salary per month in Guyana is about $700 US ( $140,000 Guyana) or less?
No attic space; they will bake in there or have an extremely high electricity bill from trying to cool the residence with that almost flat roof, unless there is some really good insulation between the ceiling and the roof.
You speak the Truth comrade... This event appears to encourage crime, envy, coveteousness etc Do many ppls have this type of housing in GT? Compared to Western style homes this is extravagance! There is Cost of living crises in Western countries maybe ex- MP's might afford this victorian style housing. Govt issued "Tinyhomes-tents-like" living in UK means less damage to environment❤.
Thanks for sharing your video the houses are beautiful but just one advice in the future if you’re able to get the square footage of the house it would be a lot more easier to know what you are getting for the price as we do here in Canada, no offence I know Guyana and other countries do things differently but it’s just my opinion Again thanks for sharing your videos it brings back memories when I was growing up there
I like that my country is trying..bit how well will those house withstand the flooding and heavy rain from Hurricane season..and the washer/dryer need to be abor more bigger
Can these houses withstand the weather extremes in Guyana being it is prefab house. Does it have insulation to reflect Guyana hot sun?? Does it have passive air flow to naturally cool the home. What about gail force winds? Looks like a strong storm will blow them over. All houses in guyana flood zones need to be built at least 2.5 metres above ground level due to flash flooding and storm surges. Infrastructure to move the water away from infrastructure need to be built before any housing boom.
Great job Phillip, the houses are beautiful, however I wonder where overseas viewers can get the square footage of each model home along with the size of the land and the location in Guyana where these homes are being built? Otherwise, can you please provide the government website where viewers can get the required information.
Hi Philip very interesting video, beautiful homes, the last one is very good layout and style, where are these ho es going to be built, can’t help but notice they are flat once ground, sooooo how are you all time no see buddaaaay, how are your studies going, all the best, 🙏🇬🇾🏠
Most people in Guyana can't afford to buy these homes , thats why the govt is trying to get people to move back to guyana. So sell your house in ny for a 1mil Us and go back and buy one for 125,ooo us and you can bank the balance and live off interest until you dead. How can life get any betta
Great video. My only critism is that there is disproportional spacing. I prefer a large livong are and smalle bedroom. The kitchen also should.be a little spacious
22:22 I was able to scan the QR code thinking it would give you the specs on the house, like how many square footage etc, but all it did was ask you which booth you visited and how soon you intend to buy. smh.
You're going to come out much better building your house out of some block and taking your time that money is just going out the country and it ain't helping nobody and the price is ridiculous for the salaries of the country
The simple houses in Guyana prices are exorbitant, while the income for the middle and lower class are low, "the math ain't mathing." Houses are selling in Guyana as thought the dollars earning are us dollar or equivalent.
@@dominiqueallums-farley6704 Ok so you will have a 2 bedrooms downstairs and 3 bedroom upstairs. Sometimes the downstairs is empty or sometimes it’s occupied. In St Vincent we mostly live in communal settings so when children get older instead of going elsewhere to live we will just add on a downstairs or an upstairs or we will build a separate house next door.
Exceptbthst St.Vincent gets hit by Hurricanes and tropical storms. Not worth the risk. Guyana just gets heavy rains and flooding. A bit safer for long term investment.
For that price you better off just buying a house in America with way better infrastructure and job opportunities for 300K average Guyanese can't even afford that . I don't understand how the country has billions of dollars and still paying this much for a house that's not even made out of bricks and wood. This is capitalism at its finest to Rob poor people

Keep the prices low.....don't end up with inflated prices and homeless people like USA. Food prices in Guyana should also be kept low because Guyana has lots of agricultural products......just need to get them to markets quickly by improved infrastructure.
Sadly it's a free market with no regulations , here in Guyana . Even the 9.5million home here is not 9.5 when you go in to housing depending on the region you will have to pay 2.5milion for the lot first in order to qualify for the 9.5mil house
If u give me the same crew with my technology i will build one of those houses in two weeks and . I will make it 2 stories. Top and bottom l will use local furniture because those furniture the have the weak u need strong furniture u have to put a garage because one flat or a flat houses is too expensive and if u look at it good it don't have space it too small that is why u need two flats for the same money, If u take that same money u could make a concrete house ?

...Just what i was thinking...South Ruimveldt had many floods. A major design flaw unless put on posts platform much flooding issues forseen😮❤

Interested in the bathroom mirror in the last house shown (25,000,000 GYD).

It looks good, but it would have been good if you had a better presentation without so much crowd of people. Nice, though!
I hope the wind does not blow this house away...we are in a Hurricane Zone...
Good evening Philip 🙏 ❤💪👍🏽🇬🇾🙏
Good evening Reza
Wonder why the House is on Sale?❤
Thanks for showing this video , it gives a good indication of how the prices are for houses in this class
Its my pleasure, big up yourself
Looks like $10 million house. They got robbed by themselves 😂. FLAT HOUSE
Big up man, nice video there.
@@ClintAndreVlogs thanks man, big up yourself
You can buy land and bill a house half of that price.
Thank you for sharing 😊
My pleasure
The last one is a very nice house , I love the layout, but I guess the true pricing should say starting at.
Are these home built to modular expectations?
Beautiful thank you
Where is the land located? same place? !
Good gob done bro peace 🙏big up u self
Thanks bro, big up
How can a third world country sell expensive house to poor people
I saw you on Sunday at the expo
Ok nice, should have come say Hi
Hey good day can non national of guyana purchese a house there just asking thank you
The houses are way too small for that amount of money. In St Vincent we will get a two story 5-7 bedroom house with wrap around porch for that price.
Do the rooms stay empty are are all 7 Bedrooms filled
