There was not a desire to win or experience the thrill of battle, but to just stop the king of curses. It’s that in Jujutsu society your worth is pre much determined by your strength especially for people born into the 3 big clans like Gojo. Gojo being born changed the jjk world just because of how strong he is. His whole life he’s been unrivalled in strength and the only person somewhat close to him was Geto which changed after Toji. We are only friends with people who we can relate to. Gojo can’t relate to anyone’s struggles and they can’t relate to his. He still has friends but he’s alone in that he has no one who understands him
Gojo loneliness is one of his own creation. He basically shunned everyone even though there were persons there who cared and loved him. Kashimo is the same. Because of there strength they couldn’t bring themselves to view others as equals cause they are weaker. It’s that in Jujutsu society your worth is pre much determined by your strength especially for people born into the 3 big clans like Gojo. Gojo being born changed the jjk world just because of how strong he is. His whole life he’s been unrivalled in strength and the only person somewhat close to him was Geto which changed after Toji.
We are only friends with people who we can relate to. Gojo can’t relate to anyone’s struggles and they can’t relate to his. He still has friends but he’s alone in that he has no one who understands him

Gojo loneliness is one of his own creation. He basically shunned everyone even though there were persons there who cared and loved him. Kashimo is the same. Because of there strength they couldn’t bring themselves to view others as equals cause they are weaker. Gojo is basically selfish because even though he wants to raise up sorcerers who are not asses like the big clans he is also doing it cause he wants them to be on his level cause that way he won’t be lonely cause that’s basically how he measures worth…ish. Look at yuta who is second only to Gojo with no one else coming close to him yet he doesn’t feel lonely outside of Gojo because he doesn’t value strength as a criteria like Gojo does.
I think the best quote from Gojo is “You can love a flower but you can’t ask it understand you” It perfectly sums up his feelings. He still loves the people around him but he is fundamentally different in that he is in a whole separate league.
