When I was growing up, my parents would often listen to Dr. J Vernon McGee on the radio in the car. Most of the time while going to pick up my father from work (usually having to wait for 30-45 minutes for him to finish his work day). I would listen but didn't understand much, as other things entered my head and stole my attention (school girls, sports, what I was going to do at recess and gym et al) however as a young adult and removed from that ritual I lost touch on who it was that my parents listen to that sounded like an old grandfather sitting in the living room teaching his family about the word of GOD. However, one day flipping through the radio station dial setting I heard that old family church choir singing that intro/outro song and it clicked.... like a lightbulb/EUREKA moment.... That's who my parents listen to when I was a child... and Ive been listening to him ever since and what a blessing this man is. God Bless TTB.org, Dr. J Vernon McGee and Listeners. May you find a renewed joy and comfort in GOD's word and revelation. Christ return is near. Sharpen your swords, trim your lamp wicks, and fill your lamps with oil. And I'll see you at the Marriage supper when Christ comes to collect his bride. John 3:16 is the greatest gift anyone could ever receive. AMEN....
This is like having my grandpa tell me about the Bible, I love him too and think he’s God instrument to explain what he wants us to know about. He’s in heaven now. Im so glad he made these tapes and books telling about the Bible to help us understand it better.
J Vernon McGee Has one of the best studies not only in the Book of Revelation,but the entire Bible how his work and influence carries onto reaching out to everyone on the planet.
