@W0Y4K I own many deadmau5 records from Splinter. This type of distortion is incredibly common among them. Splinter was just plain bad at cutting records unfortunately. My copy of this record has the exact same distortion on the kick that you hear in this video
It's endlessly hilarious that his most successful and known track in some respects was released with his most unknown underrated one
It's miles apart stylistically but yes I agree.
how old is this? rare i find a mau5 track i dont know
It was on the Vinyl with 'Ghosts n' Stuff' Back in 2008
cool, thanks
That's alright! No problem :)
You'll never find them all. One may think they have, but they haven't.
Do you have the all the soundcloud tracks?
Thank you for the superb quality :)
I uploaded .wav on r/deadmau5 reddit somewhere.
Why wasn't this included on the damn EP? It's so much fun!
Did you put the wav DL on reddit?
yep
Complications parte 0
why is the kick so.. bad?
edit: i just don't know if it's the master or you since all the other 128kbps digital copies have the kick sounding fine
vinyl my dood. does not handle insane bass well.
ah, so bad mastering for vinyl i guess?
No, I recorded it silently with an AT-LP120-USB. Mint vinyl, other recordings sound great. I honestly think it's the bass, but I could be wrong.
Sounds ok to me, but I'm not a real good audio expert so I could just be retarded
