On the server I play on (3x), wyverns with at least 1400 food will live without needing to be fed any milk. Though keep in mind the wyvern might ask for milk for imprints
This is good if your lower lvl looking for a wyvern, but i just nabbed one easier. Had a lvl 200 argy and my character was lvl 85 ish w/ some good gear. Just nab the egg and fly as fast as you can away... i used the mtns to like do some Top Gun manuevers then when u get far enough the wyverns just leave you alone.
"The World Scar" not "wyvern trench." and also just shoot all of them with arrows make them leave the Scar following you then just go take the eggs they wont aggro since they wont be near the Scar.
@SirChris it's late but I just loaded my single player and did a fresh Dino wipe to get some eggs to hopefully spawn in. Probably won't be any before I sleep. My setup is already built for the method I use. Really only need it for your first egg because after that first wyvern you can just outrun the others. But my method can use any early flyer and you get in and out without any deaths of you or your tames. My method in ark is always smarter not harder. I'll see if I can get a video made in the next day. If you don't hear from me comment again tomorrow cuz I work and might forget. I could just tell you but that's no fun. Rather show you.
I have a mod that allow every Dino to spawn with a baby. It has one and three chance the first Phoenix. I found her had a child so I killed it free Phoenix........ I know it's cheating but my world my mods
I dont see how this is even a tactic, its literally just run and hope. Low effort video man not even a cheated in trap or anything you just showed me how to run away. How do you get milk? Is it just punch them and have 100 beds close

Pro tip, if you make a small storage box and stick the egg in there the wyverns won't chase you when you respawn and grab it.

Yeah I remember them being easier/lazier in evolved but in ascended they seem more dangerous
well i just learned you could kill yourself via implant... has that always been a thing in ASE or is that an ASA thing..
It was added in ASA. It's very useful, in fact I had to use it just yesterday because I got stuck and respawned at base to grab a flyer

any quick flyer would work.. its a simple snatch and grab then fly away ..as long as the flyer is faster then the wyvern...SMH
If you dont play with flyer movespeed lvl, i dont think any flyer has a base speed higher than a wyvern
