Yes, it was a cool place to visit. Minneapolis, Minnesota in the USA installed something similar years ago and they had a major issue with many of the fish dying.
Hello my girlfriend and I went here. We found the sand eels interesting. We have photos and video if you'd like us to share. Can i suggest a tour to Sirao Gardens. We also found the groupers fascinating. Looks like there is a function hall as well.
Rod! You mentioned without scuba diving...but also there is scuba diving with a special "helmet" on your shoulders, which make possible with a guide/escort diver, you to walk among the fishes in this large aquarium ! No needed a diving back round from a person to get there safely. Cool! When getting to this "Snow World", have to remember it is -12C there, so warm clothes needed!
Thank you, that was a nice park. Your right children would love it there. Seeing the wonders of the World thru a child's eye is different from adults. One think I couldn't help noticeing many of the signs were in English. Guess English is taught in schools at an early age.
Thanks Joe. It was an interesting trip and the kids do live it. English is a bit of an international language and the 2nd official language taught here.
That’s pretty cool Rod, they even have Nemo there😆, A lot has changed since we were last in Cebu, looking forward to checking it out when we get back there. Thanks for sharing 👍
That’s a great video Rod, good job. We went there before I came back home, but your video is far better than the one I took, the quality is excellent. It’s a nice place to spend an hour or two.
Thanks Brian. I enjoyed it also. Taking video is a learning experience and I would have liked to do this one much better as well now that I reviewed it.
Wow very nice , I’m with you on the noise side things, no need for loud , but they have more in the Philippines then we have here in Australia , can’t wait to live there one days , cheers Rod 🥂
We've been meaning to get over there--We'll have to soon! It looks really cool.. Stone fish are very venomous--I had a language instructor once who had stepped on one in the ocean by accident. He survived, but was on crutches for a year! One time my Filipino father in law was visiting in the US at our place at the time, and we took him to a popular aquarium. Most of his comments upon viewing big fish in the tanks, was how tasty it would be to cook and eat them! We found that comical.:) Besides SM Seaside, others might also be interested in visiting the Pedro Calungsod Chapel nearby.
Amazing Philippines I think you’ve got me mistaken for someone else , never met you or been to Cebu. Only Boracay several times when it was nice 👍 Aloha 🌴
Hi Rod, I just returned from having spent almost a month in Cebu. Thanks to your great videos which were very helpful to me in planning my trips to Bohol, Alona beach, and Bantyan Island. I had a great time with my friend who is an expat in Cebu. i would've love to meet up with you for a chat and a beer or coffee. i really enjoyed my time in the Philippines and look forward to a return trip sometime soon. Anyway, thanks again for your great videos. Oh I did meet up with Bobby D and his wife. Bobby's videos are on Life in the Philippines, a black man's viewpoint. Take good care.
We visited the one in Manila. Looks like this one would be a nice place to visit as well. Sure looked like lots of fish there. Hope they will keep it well maintained.
Rod, Cool video. It's weird how watching fish swim produces a calming effect. I saw a documentary on the National Geographic Channel about the Philippines. They said that the species of crocodile indigenous to the Philippines is one of the least aggressive in the world. ( However, you could catch them on a bad day) The news here in the U.S. reported that there was a hostage situation in Manilla on Monday. I found it amazing that the police allowed the suspect to talk to reporters after he surrendered to outline his grievances!!! - What a criminal friendly police force! You may have lived in Phoenix at the time when an Asian lady tried to open a salon that offered fish pedicures. It was shot down by the State Board of Health. Daniel
Yes, fish, water, and waves seem to have a calming affect Daniel. That was a strange hostage situation. Most police here are much less "aggressive" than in the USA. It is a different culture.
Amazing Philippines coming from Michigan. They originally rescheduled me so I’d miss my connecting flight home and would be stuck in South Korea but when I called they offered an alternate flight or a refund. I opted for the refund.
A few people are being watched here but no news of much of it spreading here at this time Armand. It is impossible to guess what will happen in the next month or 2.
rod - I spoke to you awhile back and purchased my condo in mactan newtown - I have an interesting story to share with your followers based on my personal experience. I will be in town until the 11th- if you want chat send me a note.
Where were the killer whales? Back west🤪 Think most philipinos have hearing damage or just hear at a different frequency. Yes always extremely loud. ✌🏽🇺🇸🇵🇷🇵🇭
LOL. I was told there is a similar park in Manila with dolphin shows. Maybe Filipinos grow up with loud noise, it damages their hearing and they think it is normal.
LOL. I am coming to that conclusion BOOGNOW. They probably have their hearing damaged at a young age with the loud volumes they play and they think it is "normal".
Fish gather in shoals, sharks in schools and the Ray was a leopard Ray not a zebra, hence spots over stripes. Videoing was fine, narration needs to be researched.
@Slim Jim Definitions are definitions and don't alter country to country. The language is English and it doesn't change. I'm trying to educate people and you debate me. I guess it's just the American in you.😂

The stone fish are cool but quite venomous. The rays are very interesting.
Amazing Philippines exactly
Thanks for that Rod very nice
Thanks Kriss. It was worth a visit.
Nice job Rod yes the loud noise is a wonder why for sure makes no scense to me
Thanks Dennis. It seems like there is no management or supervision in many places and the workers just turn the volume up where they want it.

@@AmazingPhilippines1 that maybe. We were there quite a few years back. I don't remember seeing dolphins at that time. May have to take another trip.
