Mwaf, based on how you described that story about the female cop on a power trip, tasering the black guy, I can tell that you have been watching 1st ammendment audit videos, and you must have noticed how ordinary Americans (including blacks) are standing up to cops such as that, especially when they are detained without probable cause. Cops will usually take advantage of people's ignorance of the law by abusing their rights, especially those that pertain to a detention such as the right to remain silent.
Moreover, there is a legal doctrine in states called the 'fruit of the poisonous tree' which forbids the admission of any evidence in a trial that arises from an illegal detention, and that must have been the reason why all the charges against him were dropped. On the case of Leonard, I think he must have been sleeping halfway through the CSI episodes he must have been watching , for him to carefully construct a plan to execute his intent. I've seen videos of guys being busted by undercover detectives for trying to pull up the same BS.
