As someone with about 1k hours on pig, whispers is definitely a good perk for beginners and veterans alike, it's great for stealth builds and sneaking up to get cheeky gen grabs!
Is my build any good (asking as a new Pig player)?: -Plaything -Devour Hope / Retribution -Pentimento -Surge / Corrupt Intervention Workshop Grease / John's Medical File
@BlueJayz474 Plaything is always a solid choice for pig so you're good there. More slowdown is always great because her built in slowdown is not the best Devour Hope is a HUGE 50/50 at the end of the day pig is an M1 killer so the benefits from Devour will definitely be helpful, but that being said it's a hex perk and survivors who know the game know where all the totem spawns are at, and considering you get random players each lobby you never know. Same goes for retribution, although the oblivious status effect is nice so I'd say stick with retribution Pentimento is, again I'd say a 50/50, survivors who know where to find totems, especially if they are in comms are dangerous because they can just call it out. Which leads some killers to guarding totems instead of gens. Hex perks in general are a 50/50 but if you like that playstyle, go for it! Although if I were to make a suggestion, try tinkerer 😊 Surge and Corrupt? Definitely pick Corrupt over this one. It helps with early game pressure and gives you a reason to sneak around the early game going for hit/gen grabs. If you can get a grab early that's great, just remember Corrupt goes down once someone gets grabbed or goes into the dying state, but then again by that time the survivors have been working on gens that weren't blocked from Corrupt. Workshop grease is amazing if you love to use ambush at loops specifically, and John's medical file is a good stealth option as that let's you move faster when crouched. All in all looks like a good build for a beginner!
@@BlueJayz474 My Pig build is Plaything, BBQ, Corrupt, and Blood Warden. Plaything synergies amazingly with her party hats because survivors with active hats can't cleanse totems. Plus survivors who cleanse their totems are off of gens. Corrupt gives time to get the first hat on. BBQ is so I know where I'm going. There's probably better info perks but I'm old so I still use BBQ from the days of it granting bonus blood points. Finally Blood Warden is *amazing* on Pig. I always bring an add on for a 5th party hat so I usually have 2 survivors with hats when the final gen is popped. Usually I will instantly open an exit gate to start the EGC. Now survivors have 2 minutes to get their party hats off and escape while I am harassing them off boxes. Sure, their hat timer will pause in chase, but the EGC timer won't. Blood Warden provides extra reassurance that way even once survivors have gotten their hats off they can still sometimes be trapped in the trial.
I honestly can't play without Whispers, no matter the killer. Having constant and reliable information is so good. At this point, it has become a crutch for me.
@justwatch7091 I can say the same for lightborn. At the end of the day pig is an M1 killer, she can't keep up with the others, so spending those few seconds looking around to make sure nobody has a flashie can cost the game. I just like to grab and go
Thank you SpookyLoopz. For the longest time as a Pig Main, I found most of my builds not working well against SWF's. This build ironically exels. Even if they destroy my hex's, it does buy enough time for me to get a snowball effect going. I really enjoy this build, it's stellar and helps me feel I can actually play my main. 5 / 5 build (the first one, 2nd one I haven't tried yet)
a pig main made a video about how monitor/whispers isn't that big of a deal, you can know where the survivors are and what 32 meters should be very comfortably without those perks, so you are better iff using other more useful information/chase/gen control perks, thinekrer make you undetectable for the most part when a gen is about to be completed, so it tells you where the survivors are and you don't even need to crouch, on the plus side you can just know when to put a bear trap accuratly.
Never thought of using Whispers like that... The noises The Entity make always threw me off and irked me so I didn't use it... but as a Pig main this would do wonders if I don't feel like running Surveillance.
That Jump Scare Pig add-on combo is my favorite way to play Pig. 😄 And yeah, Whispers is a good perk for this but you don't need it, honestly, I've done fine with those add-ons without Whispers just by using some game sense to guess where the survivors roughly are and using the auras from the red add-on when I get close to get an Ambush on them.
one thing to note about the perk, its also insanely good on high mobility killers if you have some experience using it. I use it on bill, and when running around and seeing whisperers light up and go off again, i am able to exactly pinpoint the survivors location, id say its hands down teh best tracking perk if you know what you are doing with it
Wish you had done a pig one with green add-ons instead of the op add-on. That's where I learn strategy best. Whispers is also brilliant for doctor as the 32m is also his shock radius. If you shock while whispers is on & they don't scream then you know either calm spirit or in a locker
Whispers may be solid on Dredge, there is a brown add-on that allows you to trigger K. Instinct within a small radius when you return to your remnant, sadly it's a small radius, 6-12, but whispers cpuld help you zone in on elusive survivors.
Whispers has always been a good perk. For not wasting for time searching somewhere survivor aren’t at and definitely for finding the last hiding survivor. And it’s always been the same since the beginning of the game
It's cool how long this has been with spooky I gave been here when he was 1k I think but now be is here and that is crazy and you deserve it. Keep doing what ur doing
0:09 😂 thanks for the warning Btw I miss your "Hello I'm spooky loops and I hope you are having a fantastic day, so far" 😅 So can I said it? Hello everyone! I hope you are having a fantastic day so far!! ❤🎉
22:47 Chucky should have the ability to "Curve" a Scamper, similar to how Hillbilly can Curve with the Chainsaw. Just a small window, like 0.5 seconds should do fine. Because right now it's a near-useless ability outside of extremely specific scenarios. With that said, I think Chucky needs more tweaks to make him an engaging Killer to play AND to face.
As a newer player, I kinda ignored this perk. It sounded like a good interesting, but with such an auditory game, it felt kinda like of a trap perk. I will definitely give this a test run.
ooh tbh i kinda wanna try that 1st build on bing bong, except take his nearby vision addon plusthe universal sound bone chime addon...tho you will typically just be invis anyway somewhow i was thinking of using that to know when to go invis but its just not needed... still always love coop de grace on him, so strong
I've always thought Whispers was an under rated perk, I use it in a lot of builds as a go to information perk. I've even had people think I was stream sniping or wall hacking because of the info this perk can give me.
I hear you bro but two whole perks for finding them and hex ruin which gets blitzed 90% of the matches... I applaud you for still playing pig, she's my main. But you can't see jigsaw boxes anymore so i haven't played with her in months. I did but id just slug and try to hook two and trap the second one. Go attack the first hook savior then tunnel the second hook that i put a trap on until their dead. I went from getting 4 kills 2 mori's most matches with pig to only getting 1 or 2 kills a match while rarely getting a mori
Whisper works well on any stealth killer. This is also the only tracking perk that has NO counter. Sure it's not precise but it doesn't need to be. Easy gen grabs with Chucky
I havent played in forever, did they nerf scratch marks to be less visible? Ive been losing survivors a lot more often without featherweight or shadowstep
3:56 “We have her by the goth balls” really threw me off guard lmao
Same
Golf balls

The thing with whispers is that it doesn’t tell you where survivors are. It’s even better. It tells you where survivors aren’t
It literally will not leave my build. If my aura reading perks fail from distortion then i have that
That's what crows are for

-Surveillance
This perk build makes surveillance VERY POWERFUL
Bruh, just pain res and dms is sweaty af, ruin and surveillance is nice tho, good info and gen control there
@@thenormiedave Let them run pain res and DMS >:'(
Ruin and surveillance on Knight is just really good normally
@Demodare on freddy it's down right diabolical.
It's too fun to force survivors off gen with skill and only for them to run straight into you.
Oh god... I hope we don't have to deal with another round of Pigs with the same build in every game like last time Awesome video!
Too late already playing this
Pig deserves some play. I'd rather spice things up then another Blight / Nurse / Huntress fiasco in high elo.
welp I bought Pig and found this video and trying out this build lol
Those gen drawings are really good, u should become an artist
Spooky’s content are just so good. Fricken love this channel!

Corrupt deadlock face the darkness and brutal with purple gear box and tampered timer I've had multiple 3/4ks with head pops against full swfs trust🙏
Only problem I have with Whisper is maps like Midwich, Meat Plant, and Saloon. Other than that, pretty underrated perk.
thank you for the lesson my brain just got bigger

SpookyLoopz remembers Scorpionz. This combo is multiple years old.
24:13 what did you call my Yui!?
Me and my buddies used to play customs back in 2017. We had one rule, no whispers
love how this perk is just idv's tinnitus. i really like it, balanced and skillful perk imo.
yeah, as a longtime player of both games using whispers feels really natural after using tinnitus so much
Ggs, was the Sable (GoodLittleSl*t4U) first match ❤
i was fried noodle, the other sable in that match. ggs!
Love your name 😂 gg!
i always love your pig videos because i think she is probably the most underrated killer in the game. great work!
always impressive how these perks work together
I've had so much fun with this build thanks spooky. I've had 2 dc's on average each game people don't know how to handle this I love it
VERY nicely done! This build would work beautifully with Wraith, too, using purple All-Seeing and Coxcomb Clapper.
I used to maybe pig with these whispers, monitor, BBQ chilli (for the double BPs back then) and STBFL. Was a wild ride
Seeing that max stacks Devour Hope with Undying still up made me ASCEND. 🤩
love the long-plays, and short videos and... well, basically any other video that u make
I've played this game for so long that I remember when Whispers was almost a meta perk.
There's a old build with whisper, monitor, enduring and brutal. Its great to learn ambush attack and not to respect pallets, but nothing more.

I got to iri 1 with whispers pig a few years ago and thought it was so epic. So I am kinda excited about this vid :D
Back when Pig had her smaller terror radius Whispers/M&A was a staple in my builds for her.
If whispers had stacks that tell you exactly how many survivors are within 32 meters it would be an even better tracking perks
It's always a good day when my lunch arrives and I see mr loopz has uploaded a video for me to enjoy with my lunch
you can actually do this with ghost face with the addon that decreases when you crouch

I've always ran Whispers as the Killer, I never unequip it. It's such an underrated perk!
Played against a pig with this exact build the other day. They must have been fresh off seeing your vid! I escaped via Hatch.
imagine if they would give the perk whisper a number that shows how many are curently in 32m range, like these devs dont even try.
Whisper works well on any stealth killer. This is also the only tracking perk that has NO counter. Sure it's not precise but it doesn't need to be.
