I don't think there is a way to make a fan that blows hard not be loud...LOL I like the thermostat so it comes on and off when needed and not just stays on. Our house has AC but wife wanted to circulate the air and try to use less AC this year. Sounds good to me.
Thanks for posting. Its a good fan' but yeah a little flimsy and the base can fall off when you pick it up and the pole some times slides down after some time no matter how much you tighten the pole, could use a little better design i guess.
Thank you for letting me know to turn the cap thing counter clockwise. I thought it was broken until I saw your video. Hey, I didn't get any batteries.... Oh well. The fan is working.
I went and took a look just for you. It's ever so slightly. Makes since you wouldn't want it to blow directly onto you most likely if it was placed 8-10 feet away.
Im a single 70 year old untechnical woman. I got so frustrated trying to put this together. And when I finally turned it on the frame came flying off and my finger got a waked good by the blades. Almost thought my finger tip was gone. Will have a cool off period, take it apart and start from scratch.
@@Meekerextreme I hear you, electric bill can be expensive and ceiling fans can sometimes do only so much. I went shopping walmart today, they didnt have a lot options like last time i went. People are buying fans, i went with better homes and garden fan. $50 which i dont think is bad price. My last pedestal i bought long time ago was around that much and worked for very long time. Before replaced with tower fan which i regret, but was a free gift from family. So now im going back tot he pedestal fans.
I don't know if the plastic nut I received is defective. I put it on, it locks but the moment I turn the fan on. After like 5mins, of spinning the nut unlocks and slips off.😡😱
My fans got really hot after stopping them and I bought more because I thought they were old but they all do it even different brands. Do you know if it's normal? Ok when on then hot after stopping. Even only running for 20 min.
The funny thing is that my dads anger issues while trying to make it by himself (plus with barely any help with a 17 y/o) was suddenly gone when I found this video
The stand should be higher, but it is sliding down. You did not assemble the fan exactly as on the picture on the manual. But I tried to tighten it more, and it held on so the fan stood high. I think I will keep it. But it may still slide down from time to time. I still like Lasko fans.
That is my problem. As soon as I turned it on the front grill came flying off any my index finger got wacked really good by the blades. I almost thought my finger tip was chopped off.

Had to help my mom build it. Thanks for the help! ❤
Glad I could help!
I just got this fan at Costco yesterday...the noise is loud but its like an AC, after awhile you don't focus on the noise.

You're welcome 😊
Thank you for your tutorial. Set mine up following you! Thanks 🙌🏽
Glad it helped!
@Meeker Extreme mine has plus and minus buttons idk what those means,
thank u unc!
I bought this a couple days ago, can't get the remote control to open to put the batteries in!
It's pretty hard to push down and push away
I was having this same issue, I stuck my nail into the small space above the ridges and it popped open.
@@sarashsarante I hide this works
Came here for the same reason
Can you please make a video of a Lasko desk fan (black) unboxing
Is there a way to turn off that blue led on the panel? It's brighter than the sun, sucks in a dark bedroom.
This fan worked great for us. Now I’m trying to take mine down for the season. I can’t get the head assembly off to put back in box.

How do you get the pole to fit securely into the base?
If I recall it just shoves in
I hate this fan. Also got mine from Costco. It literally falls apart when I try to move it. Heavy as heck. I hate this fan. I got rid of it.

I just got one of these and it’s so loud!
Cool I never seen these in my local Walmart in Canada I know in the states there in walmart

How do you adjust the height? When I tighten the twisty thing, it doesn’t keep the upper pole locked in place, just slide right back down.
At the base end you twist the plastic piece and you can slide the fan up or down.
Mine doesn't tkghten tight enough to be able to support the weight of the motor.😢
@@shary5165 Mind wont tightened either.
Fan is super nice but whenever I try to move the fan from place to place the pole pops out of the base/the head of the fan pops off the pole
I haven't had that issue, maybe hot glue the pole down or something.
Having trouble tilting the fan. Any clues.
I don't want to force it for fear of breaking it.
I had to go look. It just pushes up real easy didn't take any force, I also heard clicking for each position when I moved it up and down.
7:08 i cant figure out how to put this on . its not going on at all!

Bought this last week after assembly found head slight tilted upwards . Is that how yours too?

What modle number fan is this?
Model: 2527
Can you still get this?
When I look it shows ones similar. I had this exact one and cand find it
How do you take it apart in winter?
I put it in the basement or closet.
Ty
How do u open the remote mine won’t open
Push very hard and slide it open. It was hard to open.
I ended up taking the remote back to Costco and they swapped it out with another one from a different box
Using a small flathead screwdriver I was able to push down on the crack of the door and open it
Hello, How's the noise level of the fan?
It's a fan, on low it's fine, on high it's a wind tunnel.
@Meeker Extreme Good! I need a wind tunnel to fall asleep. Just picked mine up and can't wait to hear the noise hehe.
I can’t insert the motor on the tube
The edgy side doesn’t go in the motor

debating about lasko or pelonis fan, so many fan options for both ^^
Honestly we saw it at Costco and it was an impulse buy more then a 100% need this now type deal. Trying to cut down on AC use in the house.

How is it holding up? Im thinking of ordering. Honeywell did me dirty so never again.
I have been running it in the basement to just keep air flowing and it's been working fine, no issues.
I have the fan in my bedroom
You never mentioned how the fan feels whether it has power to cool you or the room down :/
We use it, and it works for our needs

Try and see if the customer service is good, if you got this at Costco just return it, lifetime to return such items...LOL

It's an electric motor so they will generate heat.
@@Meekerextreme Thanks but should it be so hot like 5 to 10 min after shutting off?

So what would make it the coldest 80 or 60
Want it 60 in the room set to 60

hardest remote control to ever open. just jammed my thumb & still not opening...🤔

Too much money whoa 😳
Shit design, base never lock to pole and fan never lock into pole. You have to dismantle all three parts every time you move it.
This are the worst Fans in the world. They stop functioning in less than a month. And there is no reason why. And to fix them no body knows
I highly recommend COSTCO for that reason, return it and move on...LOL Ours still works but it doesn't get used often.
