Hi Michael Mate another great video outlining all your layout's detail and explanation of the terrific repainting of some locos. It's always a pleasure to tune in from down under and learn from your great videos. Glad to hear your doing ok as well Michael. All the best, Darren from Newcastle, Australia.
@@michaelsmith-hn1cn mate the over head camera work was just fine👍 And thanks Michael doing my best to stay safe and well down here in Oz. Look forward to tuning in again soon. Cheers, Darren
Absolutely stunning! Your passion and hard work is evident, and the detail incredible. The view along the platform at 14:36, brilliant. Thank you for sharing your art.
These videos are a welcome distraction. They are beautifully shot and highly detailed. I particularly love the ASDA truck. Keep up the fine work.... Robert.
Good to see you looking a bit better - continue to take care. THANK YOU for another brilliant video. As a newcomer to your channel, I've found great peace of mind watching your videos during the lockdown, especially as I live in a small flat without any space to think about even a small end-to-end layout. UA-cam creates the space which I don't have, and I fill that space with your layout. Watching your video was the most splendid way to spend a half hour today. Cheers Mick.
Hi Mick both your Lakeside and Graham's are on my favourite layouts and I am sorry you have both been troubled with health issues. It is great news that both you and Graham's wife Hazel are on the mend. Thanks for the layout tour and there were a few scenes I had forgotten and I don't remember the quarry either. Its a fantastic layout that i don't tire in watching. Super new additions too and you certainly have the knack for a great re spray . Keep safe ............Cheers Kev
I'd somehow missed this video. What a treat I love the off track detail and the stories that go with them. It reminds me of when I was a kid about 55 years ago. At least you didn't have a couple of lads bird nesting. I had shoe boxes of eggs, I'd be shot now of course! Keep up the great work as always.
Excellent stuff. Track looks realistic with the odd rail lying around. I would get some more weeds in there and dirty up the wagons a bit just to make it more like real life. Obviously this is a labour of love. Well done.
Amazing layout. The detail and back stories are fantastic. The investment in time and money must be off the scale. But well worth it. And that's not including the other objects around the layout. Like the numerous display case 66's. Which are stunning in themselves.
Thanks for the comment. I keep thinking of this but 2 things that hold me back is. 1 will there be enough room under the bridges. 2 what would be the cost to do 2 tracks at 103ft each in length. One day may be. All the best. Mick
@@michaelsmith-hn1cn with a mast either side of the bridge you could put the wires through with little clearance. And wires dip in real life under structures anyway. As for cost. Look at it this way...it's just a couple of sound locos worth. Doesn't seem so bad then. But I appreciate it's a bit daunting . Cheers Gary
I just want to add. This is why we have youtube. Mike thanks so much for doing the tour of the layout. Whenever someone builds their layout they will always take ideas and inspiration from others. There is so much to grab here that I will be stealing some of your ideas.
