Now to my confession, i bought the GTI Clubsport & its coming in November! A question! When you guys tested the Mercedes A45, did it have the "AMG Ride option" ? Did the GTI CS have "DCC option?" I mean, to be fair & unbiased you have to compare "Apples to Apples", Right..?
+3DFX hi there. Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed the video. Yes we're definitely honest in our videos, they're all completely unscripted so we're just saying what we genuinely think. The Mercedes had 'dynamic select' and the GTi had DCC.
Agreed and the both cars came with both options. Not sure I have it in me to not say what I actually think about a vehicle (hence we sometimes get into trouble with manufacturers). Would love to hear your thoughts on the GTI Clubsport, I couldn't quite believe how good it was and it'll definitely be in my final list for car of the year. Do yourself a favour though and take it to the track! You won't regret it!

Sho that's a tough one. The RS feels to me like the grown up brother of the GTI Clubsport. Obviously it's more expensive and you get more kit for your money (ie the trick 4 wheel drive system), and on the track I think the RS might be quicker. Having said that however I think around town the GTI might feel a little better and to do those epic drifts the RS needs a lot of space. It's a hard one to chose in the end and it will come down to your own personal preferences. The RS feels like a brute that batters the laws of physics into submission while the GTI Clubsport flatters them into creating manic results.
+Mike D tough one. We really like the Focus RS, it's AWD done properly, something most manufacturers get wrong. But for the money the Clubsport is incredible value, fun and a great all round car.
Clubsport S is lighter, since no backseat etcetera. But the normal GTI Clubsport that i own, also have things that make it lighter than say a normal GTI & R, for example, the Chassis is a ligther version made in Belgium. Also i notice my sunroof only have a thin protection layer fabric after the glass compared to my old GT R-Line for example, & im sure thers more as well. Also you should know that the Clubsport S is ONLY 20 HP stronger than the normal Clubsport. So Clusport S is 310 HP, while Clubsport is 290 HP. But not everything is about horsepowers, and with the Clubsport models, VW for sure have realized this fact!

you should make more Unlikely Matches, all 2.0 lts sports versions from all makes for example!

clubsport faster than the 45 on track......are you not thinking of the lightweight clubsport S version?? which slays on a track.
