3:30 in the morning is the best time to catch someone at home asleep and surprise them. This was retribution for something that happened at an earlier date. It takes a special kind of monster to stand over an innocent 6-month-old baby and pull a trigger. If that child were a relative of mine, I would hope this person was not arrested. I would want to find him myself, far away from a judge and jury. There would be no due process........just vengeance.

Whenever you see dead babies and little girls that have been raped as part of a shooting, it is done by the adult male the perpetuated the rape and is the father. I remember years ago, watching some talk show that had young gang members on it. When they were asked about the violence they could face, that their wives, brothers, parents or children could be caught up in the violence, revenge etc. They were dismissive. They said the gang is all they have, they're loyal, that they know it's a risk, but they 're prepared for it and accept they or their families might die as a result.
What I saw was teens and young adult totally out of touch with reality. Unless a person is a sociopath or psychopath they were completely unrealistic about the devastation they would face if they became victims of their own foolishness and violence. They said they would just get revenge, or someone would get revenge for their own death. They said there was nothing else to live for, the gang was it. To live and die for. Again- I thought about how out of touch with the reality of having your child killed- perhaps before you... and how incredibly avoidable that was. It was like the bravado of many teens who still think they're immortal and it won't really happen to them.
Movies and video game keep sending message about how cool and badass being in gangs are, its hard to remove that mindset from these people.

Those who committed the crime are in Mexico by now. If it was gang related or "cartel" style then yeah, they are gone.
