Hey good job good option good video Dont trip on the haters F/M Using EQ just for upping to 8volts is enough for me able to adjust all four highs, mids, midbass, subbass speakers & low pass, high pass, volume independently is a huge bonus analog vs digital aka DSP
@@TruthHz261 I think I understood the purpose was to sound shape + level match the tweeters and mids separately so they could blend better and send a hot signal to the amps
The eq is new and it didn't do it until the other day when I accidentally dropped it. Also it only makes the noise on one amp but not the other amplifier. I am running 400 and 800 watt taramps on six 5.25" speakers and two 8" full range speakers. I'm gonna try everything you said to see if any of that stops it. Thanks so much for responding and the helpful advice
You're very welcome. Now that you mentioned it didn't start until you dropped it sounds like it might have gotten damaged from the drop. What kind of eq is it?
These have that. All eqs have adjustments for all the frequencies but I want volume control over mids, highs and subs separately. If I had my mids and highs on one eq..when I want my highs at a lower volume that means I would have to lower the mids as well and that's not what I want. So you're right I don't need all that but I want all that
That’s what I’m trying to tell you I have an eq with All of those features and my music is ran just like you want it to be .. I can turn up my highs or mids or the sub and all individually…
I'm not 100% sure. Could be bad RCAs. Bad connection at the speakers or a bad speaker or the eq could have gone bad. Try wiggling the knobs on the eq and see if it stops or gets worse
That’s a lot of bass knobs. Expensive too for a bass knob. C’mon bro you know you just wanted more knobs and LED’s with that 3rd EQ….. a lot of us do have that bug. Anyway, I sure know how it is with more money in RCA’s and active crossovers than many have in their entire systems
The bass knob is only used on the sub eq because it's the only eq with anything hooked to the sub output RCA's.. so no it's not a lot of bass knobs😂😂. Like I said in the video I just like to have full control over whatever song comes on right at my fingertips vs having to go in the radio settings or going into the trunk to make adjustments on the crossover for every song. It's a personal preference thing. I good friend of mine just added a second eq to his system and said it was the best move he ever made.
@@TruthHz261 i been installing systems since i was in middle shcool and not them cheap ass systems from swap meets,,, if u dont have a doubel dash stereo, u need a equalizer and the equalizer should take care of highs . Mids and lows
I agree with you..1eq will take care of mids, highs and lows. But I wanted independent adjustment and volume control over mids, highs and lows separately. Each eq has its own volume knob so if a song comes on that has the mids recorded louder than everything else all I have to do is adjust the volume on that particular eq without having to lower the overall volume of everything else. It's just how I like mine. I'm not telling people this is the way its supposed to be done or this is the only way to do it. I'm just letting them know it's an option.

This what we used to do before DSPs 😂. Good setup
So true..I might have to give a DSP a try😂

What brand bro @@Ronc5200
When I turn equalizer volume up at a certain point it started to make a scratching noise in the front speakers. What would be causing that? Thanks

Are you getting and popping sound from subs when powering off?
Yes ..I don't think it has anything to do with the eqs though. I'm having the same issue in my suburban but don't have any eq installed in it
Oh ok
I was saying to myself “why this man got 3 Eqs?” And he said “some of you wonder why I got 3 eqs”

Nice!!!
Thanks man

Thanks man... I'm always doing something to my car and I figured I would start making videos to maybe help someone else out.
The constant current wont stay on when u turn your car off
No.. it isn't constant power on.. it's constant for the memory like the clock time and radio settings.

Where are you going to put that monstrosity?
Right now it's just velcroed to on the hump between the front seats. I need to have a console built for it
Theres no reason why u need 3 equalizers lmfao,,, the equalizer is meant exaclty for this, so u dont needa do alk this bullshit😂
