- 108°F today!! Am I cursed to not find silver? I am amazed at some of you guys who post videos of 5-6 silver from a single park! I have no idea how you guys do it?!?! I feel like I am being left behind cause I haven't found any silver :( lol
dude i live in Los Angeles i use the mxt pro with 12 inch spider coil good for 1 to 5 inches but minelab etrac 10 12 sef coil mxt total since march of this year silver total about 10 minelab etrac 55 plus i get silver quarters at 12 inches dimes at 8 9 maybe 10 inches great for old silver this week count starting from friday the 9th 1 merc the 10th 2 rosies the 11th 2 mercs 1 rosie the 12th it rained 13th quarter 14th 2 rosies today ? all silver about 9 to 10 hours of hunting etrac for deep si
I know how you feel bro, patience must be the key! Im at a total of 0 silver anything this year. It is pretty amazing the silver people pull out of the ground in some of these videos. Anyway keep it up your bound to find treasure. I like the beats too.
well i have seen your videos for a while and also looking for information on mxt pro.
everyone has told me that the mxt pro and 6 x 10 coil rock, why wont you get this coil, maybe thats the cure for your silver cursed!!
I found some rings.But no coins yet.But i'd say research some old sidewalks.I think they are the least searched out.And a lot of guys have good luck.All the regular hunting places around here i think i found,i will have someone pull up and tell me they hunt it,and didn't find anything over the years.Of course all metal detectorists tell the truth!LOL! Where we hunt has been pounded.Be different.I'm trying sidewalks later on when they quit melting from this freakin' heat!
Hang in there bud. It took me 6 months to find a silver Rosie. Ive found quote a few silver rings but only the one silver coin so far. I believe I just need to do more research on where people used to gather 50 + years ago.

good luck on the silver search..research is alot of detecting anymore..alot of places have been pounded by detectorsover the years.pulltabpirate said on one of his latest vids...talk to theolder people in the towns.some times ill pull into town and hit the local cafe or something and get a soda and ask where an old baseball field or school site was.ive had alot of help that way.most people are pretty helpful.but good luck..
Silver is elusive. I've only been detecting since the first of May....but my first coin ever dug was a barber quarter...lol. After that it was a 4 week dry spell. So far in the last three months I've gotten 6 silver and a V nickel....just keep hitting it.
Don't sweat it, Fred. It will come, eventually. I consider myself quite lucky to have gotten 15 silvers so far this year, but have never gotten more than 2 in the same location on the same day. Once you find one, you'll probably open the flood gates.
It does take time to find Silver or other nice things. It will come in due time. And don't always believe everything you see or hear.
You will find the right place some day. Just make sure you dont give away your spots.
