    Tybee Island is one of my favorite beaches along the Atlantic coast, because it's not nearly as commercialized as some of the more popular beaches in the southeast (cough cough Myrtle Beach). It's actually possible to enjoy the beach without seeing rows upon rows of high-rise condos and hotels, pancake shops, mini golf, etc.

    I absolutely love Savannah. The food, the people, the history and just walking and seeing the historic homes is all amazing. Thanks for doing this one, much love and many blessings
    I actually did go just for the historic homes, I was energized just viewing them from the street. The food was spectacular in Savannah and also in Charleston yum

    Favorite city to visit in the South, much better than Charleston

      I disagree. Charleston is way better even though Savannah has its own unique charm

    The family trip to Savannah was one of my favorite of all times. We stayed on Tybee Island, a wonderful place to stay and did a lot of tours of houses. We even did a haunted "hearse" tour. It was a lot of fun. We ate at a restaurant which was supposedly haunted by pirates. My grandsons loved it!! Thanks Savannah for wonderful memories!!

    I love love love LOVE Savannah. I had to skip my Tybee Beach day bc I had an issue with my rental car and had to change my itinerary 🙄 that’s also where Dear John was filmed! I went to the Owens-Thomas house, it was amazing. Very educational. I technically went there twice but I lost a whole day there because I got COVID

    Fort Jackson is also a pretty neat nearby place to visit. It’s an old civil war fort that you can walk through and I enjoyed it.

    I loved visiting Savannah when I was in my 20s. Those adult slushes on River Street/Tybee Island are no joke. Wet Willie's was a highlight of my trip for sure. 😂

    Wonderful video, as usual. We need to get back down to Savannah. Would love to see you do a full video and review of the Charlotte and Greenville/Spartanburg metro area, two of the most amazing, fastest growing, most livable, and underrated cities/metro areas in the nation. Also tons of things to do and see in both with great restaurant scenes. Very surprised there haven’t been any reviews of these two. Your channel is one of my favorite due to the quality and objectivity you have. I am a Relocation Specialist and Statistical Analyst and use several of your videos to show clients. They have all loved them and found them incredibly helpful. Again, thanks Mark. Gos bless.

      As a Savannah resident, you may need to grow gills. Savannah is ALWAYS humid when it's not winter (what's winter?). Jokes aside, I hope you enjoyed your trip and found it as endearing as you thought it would be.

    Wife and I went for our fifth anniversary several years ago. Olde Pink House was excellent. Everything was walkable. However…we went Halloween weekend, which was also savannah state university homecoming, which was also Pride weekend, which was also humane society doggie weekend. It was a wild, fun time 😂 HIGHLY recommend any restaurant from the group Ele and the Chef

      @Chillaxing113 Рік тому

      @@Bnicole912 you couldn't be more wrong about Mobile. Maybe for whatever reason it's not the right fit for you. It's probably best you move back to Savannah.

    • @Joshua-fi4ji
      @Joshua-fi4ji Рік тому

      @@Chillaxing113 speaking as someone not from the US, Savannah looks much nicer than 90% of US cities.
      Just looking at pictures of Mobile, it looks a bit meh. Like, the only reason I'd ever visit would be for the USS Alabama.
      Of course, I can't account for the feel of a city, the locals or things to do just looking at pictures.

  • @TheRealGothicBarbie
    @TheRealGothicBarbie Рік тому +1

    What about fun things to do? These are all boring and uninteresting. I've lived here for 6 years and this is probably the most boring city in America lol. Also, you can't go half a block without being hounded by the homeless or having to step over them to get to where you're going. I highly recommend planning a vacation to somewhere else.
    PS: Yes, I could move but my rent is extremely cheap. That's the only reason I stay

  • @kylethompson6648
    @kylethompson6648 Рік тому +1

    This was our honeymoon city. We stayed two blocks from Forsythe Park. We loved the food and people. On the contrary, there is an aggressive homeless population. I literally had to choke out someone so we could get to our air bnb. Food for thought.
