What a visual treat this episode is! Vid. Bhavajan's "aaratthazhuvi" left us yearning to see Aravamudan right away! Music was just divine! Choice of pasuram to complement the Madhurageetham is exceptional! Sri Swamiji's Madhurageetham just flows as a continuation to Thirumangai Azhwar's sharanagathi pasuram to Aravamudan, with a prayer to remove all his vinai! Depiction of Ponni nadi, Thirukkudanthai were too good! Nothing better can make us want to go "see" Ponni nadi in her full splendor ;)
Vid. Bhavajan's depiction of the ratha is so apt for the pasuram - Thirumangai Azhwar has composed this set of pasurams ( thiruvezhukUtRirukkai) with a 'Ratha Bandham' structure (structure of a chariot) and finally does sharanagathi to Aravamudan in the final pasuram. Awed at how the dancer has tied it all together!
Where do we even start to appreciate the artistic direction and cinematography for this project! Every single frame was just perfection! Location for each of the verse were just mind blowing, especially for the line - Karirulil pirandha kannazhaga, Vid. Bhavajan's abhinaya showing Devaki mata admiring Krishna's beautiful eyes and then immediately slipping into deep sadness - heavy heartedly letting go of Krishna, just moved us all!
I can go on and on about so many other instances - camera work at Adaravu amaliyil, Vasudeva taking Krishna through Yamuna, Krishna's nitya rasotsava in brindavana! simply beautiful!
