Honest Abe was so right. It all starts with the family. Those strong core values that are instilled within us at a young age, help mold and shape us as adults. When that family structure breaks down, it`s a `trickle down effect` and sadly, changes everything. So glad I stumbled upon your channel. What a lovely family! We are soul sisters. My babies are grown, and now we have new little babies. The apple orchard, pumpkin patch and bon fires in fall...sledding in fresh snow and holidays in winter...flower planting and the sweet smell in the air every spring...summer fairs and jumping in the cool lake on a steamy hot day...celebrate EVERY season. This truly is what life is all about! 🍁🎄🌷☀️
I TRY. And try. And try. And then I try again. And Im heartbroken. I raised my children with family traditions in all seasons. Pumpkin patch, Apple picking, Christmas Tree cutting, Easter egg hunts, July 4th fireworks, game nights, summer camping, vacations, and church... we have awesome scrapbooks full of the best of smiles and memories. Now that they're all grown and gone with families of their own, it's virtually impossible to get everybody home again at the same time!! Commitments to the in-laws this holiday, work schedules, sick kids... I can never get the whole family together at once again! How do you do it???

So excited to see this! And I totally agree. One thung my dad always did was wear a clown wig on halloween- just the clown wig with his regular clothes and he is a pretty quiet and staid guy so it was always funny. I decided this year to do the sake fir my kids so i put on the wig this morning and they were delighted. I helped at my daughters cupcake sale at school this morn and worevthe wig and she and the other kids were delighted. Its just the little things. ❤❤

Howdy Aunt Ruthie! Love this post. A beautifully decorated home can never replace family and you are right on. We got our 1st artificial tree this year and it broke my 24 yr old daughter's heart. We shopped for our real live Christmas tree every year since she was bor but my husband travels for work now and I can't depend on him to help with the tree pickin' and putting up any longer. So hence the artificial one. When we move Lord willing, we will put up the faux tree and get a real tree too depending on the size of our home we get. Have a blessed day! Hugs
This video is so nice, I'm Caribbean so pumpkins here are different,but we have sunflowers, 3 farms actually. Our traditions are very different but me and my family love to see the Christmas lights on the streets of my home town. In Puerto Rico we are used to seeing Christmas decorations on October.
