The danger and amount of time it would take to search is immense, I’ve been there and it’s petrifying. Vertical mountains with trees , holes , massive stones that slide , the ground is dry and dangerous, fog , extreme heat in the day , colder at night …. People have put their lives at risk trying to find Jay . It’s not like walking around your local park for a missing person.
Amazing that they’ve found him hope the family get the answers they need to bring some comfort to this sad news.

I doubt he was naked, though it is unusual for clothing and possessions to be mentioned unless it was, in part, a means of identification... until he was formally identified by his parents. Until then, his name could not be published.
@@manichairdo9265 I'm no expert. But am guessing the decomposition of a body over twenty nine days, in a very hot and dry climate, would be rapid. There may not be alot of remains to identify. /I mention decomposition because it was discussed after the body of Dr Mosley was found.

Having previously travelled to Masca where I was trekking the terrain, I can confirm that this is not the place to walk by yourself during the day or worse at night time especially on your first holiday. Rest in peace…..my thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Even locals get lost in that area all the time. The difference is that when they're walking through it they're prepared and perfectly sober and not under the influence of any drugs, so even when they get lost they end up managing getting out of it or help from emergency services.

His body has been put there clearly... the 100s if not thousands of people and dogs searching the whole area that have gone there and they find him now you do not go off from that main road I've been there myself he was either getting chased off the road and fell or he's been put there it's simple as and the detective's and investigators will now see there if and was foul play involved

The main road also is a 1 way ticket out of there which there is still quite alot of people driving threw that road at nighttime someone has done something, when it's pitch black and you have no torch you still feel the road with your feet or better then that follow the bank and cliff walls but no and you ping a location you stay there for day or 2 atleast I know would anyways pitch black no sense of direction in the bush sit and wait get some kip...foul play all day

Instead of thanks to the continued efforts to the Civil Guards, all I hear is criticism. They found him, and they did a great search. They didn't miss anything, because the terrain is massive and dangerous. Show appreciation for the efforts and resources provided to search for Jay. Some people are just full of bullshit and they're the same that never went out there to search themselves.

if they did there job correctly to begin with and didnt refuse all the help they was offered they would of found him weeks ago .. why would you thank someone for doing a piss poor job also it wasn’t even them who found him it was a specialist team from Holland not the Spanish .. the Spanish did everything they could to sweep this under the rug and forget about him

The public wouldn't have jumped to conclusions had some of the characters not been so sketchy: Lucy, Brad and Ayub. And we still don't know why he decided to leave the main road, thus sealing his fate. It could well be that Ayub is culpable.
People were jumping into conclussions even before we knew about the Ayub guy. As soon as we knew Jay had been convicted as a juvenile people started to speculate this was some sort of vengeance for that.

Yeah 2:30am in the morning (the day before remains found) there was suddenly so much unrest in Masca, it’s been filmed!!! See TikTok tracker that had been staying there. The morning before his remains are found. And the Netherlands rescue team arrive… body remains discovered…
There was something going on locally.
I think the locals do not want hikers there and trying to scare people off; a local was saying it’s a place people come to die
A day before other mountain searcher rescuers from Netherlands arrive, and there questions about why locals weren’t questioned… it would be difficult to move a body, is it ritual and suddenly the human remains appear.

He stole a Rolex, the people he tried to sell it with were threatened to give up Jay. Whilst at the Airbnb they called the Rolex owner, Jay probably over heard it, ran out the Airbnb and didn’t want to risk waiting for a bus or staying on the main road incase the Rolex owner saw him. Which he probably did.

Some if the gang members were also convicted of witness intimidation, supply of Class A drugs and street robbery, which was linked to a County Lines drugs gang.

How the heck did he end up near Masca?! Went there on an excursion in 2017…one of the most beautiful places i’ve ever been but the roads there are treacherous and not very accessible.
Was the body found near the AirBnB? If so, there are still many questions to be answered.

I am astounded that people think a decomposed body that is likely just bones would be still wearing clothes. After animals have had a go, what do you think the remains and clothes are going to be like?
After a month it would still be clothes. Tenerife in the maintains is not that hot. At night it drops to 10 degrees. The ravine would shade it from the sun. So yes I would expect the clothes to be found on the body.
And if there are only remains how did they take finger prints.

They didn't use the word body. It is odd terminology. You'd normally say they found the remains fully clothed or partially clothed. We say we put our clothes on. The preposition 'with' suggests they are alongside him.
You go out with an umbrella which is portable.
But I don't think the clothes being beside the remains sinister in any event because if he fell from a great height they'd have been ripped off in all likelihood given his injuries. Added to the fact that the length of time the body will have lain there animals may have disturbed both clothes and remains. There are mountain vultures in those regions.
And if he survived the fall and still high on drugs and being dehydrated there is a good chance he might have removed his own clothes to cool down. Or even put his tee shirt over his head to shield from the sun.
The only anomaly for me is the fact the phone was found 20minutss walk away in an inaccessible bush. So after he called from a ditch wherein he was stuck and had a leg cut he managed to get out unaided, then toss his phone only to slip into a ravine a mile or so further on.
On other media sites they've said they've found the clothes and possessions beside the remains or near to the remains.

I did a reading 3 days after he went missing. It said he was in a ravine and had already come to rest. It also said a woman and man (possibly a husband and wife) averted their eyes, there was damage to a vehicle in the wheel area. It suggested he’d been hit by a car and possibly discarded. It will be interesting to see what the autopsy finds. I think it was an accident, he was struck by a vehicle whilst walking back and those responsible panicked for whatever reason and covered it up. Time will tell.

This is very sad news for Jay and his family they have all been through so much I don't understand why Jay was not found the same time his phone was this as been a shambles from the beginning making it harder on his poor family and all the people who have been looking for him it's been strange from the start so many people interfering it would have been fantastic if Jay would have been found alive but at least his family have him back RIP Jay sending sincere condolences to Jay's family and friends ❤🙏💐
