Nice tutorial Darren! I was just looking at these this weekend. I liked the glow light and the screen powering up with turning the power on, to the shuttle! I did like the carbon fiber pole as well!
I have the same as what you had before the 9 inch with the lithium ion bundle with LVS34 I got rid of the garmin pole first thing the summit pole is alright it definitely works just fine with the garmin shuttle and summit pole it’s a good set up but that new set up you got is nice as hell maybe next year I’ll upgrade poles but I am really looking into the clam shuttle and pole.
@@FarNorthAnglers yeah lots of options for sure and at different price points too. My biggest thing is I needed something with a cutoff switch since the black box is a constant power draw.
Do you have the 32 transducer?.. because that stainless knob is for the 32 it won't work on The 34 you have to use the one from Garmin which is plastic for the 34 transducer.... That's why I was wondering what you had for a. Transducer... The 34s you got to use the black plastic knob from Garmin which I'd rather use the one from HD but that's only good for the 32 or mega live
@@patrickethier6190 yes I have the 32. After watching the HDI video I see you are correct and this unit does not include a knob for the 34. It sounds like one is in the works though.
I wonder why scheels had me buy another cable? A 4 in 1 something.. maybe because I’m using a norsk battery too? But I still had to buy a amped charger.. 🤷♂️ weird
I just bought the same pole and shuttle. Thanks for your review. I feel even better about my purchase.
@@andrewhill2614 thanks for watching

@@torypaul58 you can tell some thought went into designing these.

Ordered this setup. So the unit needs to be turned 'on' when charging?
No sorry, that was my mistake. The SAE goes directly to the battery.
Nice review. Do you know if they are going to offer some kind of quick release bracket similar to Arc lab’s?
Yes, if you watch my latest video from the ice show this weekend, Jason had the bracket there and was demonstrating it.
@ Thank you!
Nice video. Dumb question here, but what is the 16.5 number representing where your USB plugs in?
@@kdsberman thanks, that's the battery voltage readout. It's helps to monitor remaining battery life.
@@3RiversFishingAdventures I kinda figured so but thought i better ask lol. Thanks man!
Does your transducer mount have a lot of play in it. Mine seems really loose.
@@paully8794 no, none at all
@ could I send you a video of mine to show you?

I hate poles that keep the transducer cable on the outside.
👍👍❤.
