very helpful, thanks a lot ! had one question - will a student still be eligible for 3 year pgwp if the 1+1 programs were done in 2 different colleges, say 1 at Seneca and 1 at Centennial?
Hello Rachel! I have some question would like to ask. I have already applied for 1+1 bundled program and I am thinking to work full time after I complete my 1st program. However, These programs require 3 semesters to complete which means I won’t have a scheduled/summer break. Not sure if I postpone the starting date of my 2nd program so that I can have 4 months (1semester) to work full-time. Can I do that? Or will it be considered as immigration rule violation? By the way, thank you very much for all helpful contents you have been creating😁
Hi Pear! There’s information about deferral of enrolment found on IRCC’s website linked below: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/temporary-residents/study-permits/assessing-conditions.html#deferred Look at Section E! ❤️🤗

BUT the visa that i got stamped on my passport is from May22-March23 (my 8 month study ends in April23). So do i need to apply for study permit extension once and it will extended from March23 till the 2nd program ends ?

You can change inform IRCC about these changes and still retain your valid study permit, they just need to update it with the new program’s you’re planning to take. Hi Ms. Rachel. Just to ask, my program length po is 3 semesters, sabi po considered 1.5yrs daw po ito. 1.5 yrs din po ba ang ma grant na PGWP for this? Thank you!
As per IRCC’s website, if your program length is more than 8 months but less than 2 years - they may issue you a PGWP with the same length as your chosen program. Although in some cases, some IRCC officers are feeling generous and may upgrade you to business class 😜🤣 However, just to manage your expectations - it’s better to assume the former 🤗☺️
You will need proof of your acceptance letter and a copy of your study permit. Then go online and see the banking details on how to send your documents.

Usually if you’re transferring from a DLI to another DLI, you just need to inform IRCC about that change in school. More info about the process can be found here: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/change-schools/account.html Hope this helps! 😊

Hi! Do i need to pay a whole year's tuition for the 2yr program or 2 bundle program before i can start or is 1 semester deposit enough and the rest paid by instalments.
There’s a minimum deposit you need to pay the school in order to get your Letter of Acceptance. If you qualify under Student Direct Stream (video on this found here: ua-cam.com/video/5KQbXC6WzGE/v-deo.html) you need to pay at least the 1st year’s tuition. Preferably, have those funds prepared on the back end so you have ample funds to support your stay in Canada 😊
Do you recommend for someone who speaks both French and English and have 5 years of work experience to go for one years study program? Do i have higher chances of getting pr in these circumstances?
I personally think it's still a risky move to consider just a year program but there's always the option to consider your second program midway if you find your points aren't enough. :)
Hi rrdancel, thanks for your info. I would like you to answer this question for me, you said students are allowed to work part-time in their first program which is 20 hours per week now if i apply for 1+1 program and pay for the first program, before i arrive in Canada, will the money that i am earning in my first program would be enough for me to pay for the second program?
@@dearestme.mydearest22 Thanks for the reply, when choosing 1+1 program is it ok for me to English language program for 1 year and Certificate program for the other 1 year? Or i can only choose Diploma/Master programs?
I got accepted for 1 year pgwp programme for Sep2022 intake, but after getting LoA, it was only specified as 8 months program (although it is stated in an official website that its a year long program) , so it will end in April 30 in 2023, and i am planning to reapply for another program from septmber 2023, so it will be around total of 16 months programme. Will I be eligible for 3 years PGWP?
It really depends on the officer reviewing your file. If your total program of study is less than 2 years but more than 8 months - they may issue you the same length for your PGWP. If the visa officer is feeling generous, sometimes they may bump it to 3. But are you willing to risk it?
Currently, I'm in Conestoga College Course: Regulatory affairs 1 yr ( PG certificate) So, can I go for PSW course at NBCC for second yr, which is not PG certificate Is it affected my PGWP
Very informative video Rachel. Thank you for that. I have a question if I study 2 masters in Canada , will I get 3 year pgwp? I did my bachelors in law.
Since your program has a program length of 2 years and assuming you met all other PGWP eligibility requirements - Most likely you’ll get a 3-year PGWP 😊❤️
hello i have a question , I am almost finish in my program but the college that I enrolled was private and they are not offering PGWP , do you think this 1+1 program will be good strategy ? thankyou
Hi there, Since you will not be eligible for a PGWP, you may want to consider either a 1 + 1 or other options prior to graduating so that you can be eligible for a PGWP. If you need assistance, please send my partner an email tien@canxvisa.com. ☺️
Hello Rachel, may I know what are the requirements on visa extension if ever I'll extend for another 1 year program? Do I need to submit a proof of funds and SOP again? Thanks :)

Hi! This has been so helpful. Do you have any recommendations for any universities that may offer bundled programs? I've only come across seneca so far but they don't have the program I need. I'd appreciate any reccomendations you may have!
When applying for 2nd program if you're already in Canada and have started your 1st program, do you need to show documents indicating support from your sponsor again? Salamat po!
Do you know if the full-time work during the gap period counted in the CRS score?
very helpful, thanks a lot ! had one question - will a student still be eligible for 3 year pgwp if the 1+1 programs were done in 2 different colleges, say 1 at Seneca and 1 at Centennial?
Thnx ... Keep safe ...
Thank you 🙏 you too!!
Can u do a video ...u explaining a deadline and if u have a part time...can we collect money to pay 1st sem fee of 2nd yr course
Perfect :)
No, you 😜🤪
Should you get a one way or return ticket when coming as a student
hello pls can i do 1 + 1 programs in 2 different province and get a 3 year work permit?
Hello Rachel! I have some question would like to ask. I have already applied for 1+1 bundled program and I am thinking to work full time after I complete my 1st program. However, These programs require 3 semesters to complete which means I won’t have a scheduled/summer break. Not sure if I postpone the starting date of my 2nd program so that I can have 4 months (1semester) to work full-time. Can I do that? Or will it be considered as immigration rule violation?
By the way, thank you very much for all helpful contents you have been creating😁
Hi Pear! There’s information about deferral of enrolment found on IRCC’s website linked below:
www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/temporary-residents/study-permits/assessing-conditions.html#deferred
Look at Section E! ❤️🤗
Can you advise please :)
I am graduate of Accountancy, and I am planning to take International Business in Canada (Post Graduate DIPLOMA 2 Years).
I have experience in Accounting handling international clients and we have our family business in my home country.
Appreciate any insight. Thank you.
I am enrolled in a second program but i found a good permanet job. Now I would like to cancel my second program and apply for a PGWP. Are there any issues if I do that? Have someone done this?
Hi Miss Rachel. I just have a question po. Will applying for extension of study permit for the 2nd 1-year program be more difficult? Since you needed to say you will leave Canada after your studies when writing the SOP for the 1st program? Hope you can see this since I'm planning to do the 1+1 but I'm hesitant because it might be rejected 🙁
Hi Rachel, When is the best time to apply for 2nd program? My 1st program is May 2022 :D
Middle of your first program is a safe start! Or as soon as the 2nd program is open for intake, apply right away!
@@rrdancel Thank you Rachel!
@@rrdancel can we apply for two programs at the time to increase our chances??
Thank you for this video. It motivated me a lot. Actually I got admission to TMU for 1 year master. So, I am planning to add one more pg certificate to improve my skills and to extend my pgwp. Hope this would work. Do you think that will they approve my permit as I am going to pg certificate after completion of MEng?
Many thanks

Nice information Thankk you. Pls help me out here I have a question - I applied for May 2022 but got my visa a bit late so i deferred to Sep 2022 (1 yr program,8month study non co-op), so my study is from Sep22-April23 + 4 month drop that i will be taking followed by other 1yr program from sep23.
BUT the visa that i got stamped on my passport is from May22-March23 (my 8 month study ends in April23). So do i need to apply for study permit extension once and it will extended from March23 till the 2nd program ends ?
I’ll get the 2 year program course, how much is the tuition for digital marketing?
What’s up ?you in Ontario ?😊
Hi Rachel, thank you for your video. Could you help me answer a question about creating Express Entry profile.
I have one concern on eligibility of 67 points/Adaptability: - I finished 2 separate 1 year /full time program in same college--> is it eligible to earn 5 points for Adaptability/spouse 's study in Canada?. I got PGWP 3 years after I combined into 2 years of studying in Canada.
Thank you
Hey Rachel
Do you think apply a study permit inside Canada is a better or easier way to get study permit?
Regardless of where you apply, the decision lies on the officer reviewing your file. So outside or inside, there’s no guarantee. So it’s better to apply from your convenience 🤗
HI Ms. RRdancel, just want to ask if I enrolled a two year program and I want to study again.. should I apply for PGWP first and enroll in my 2nd graduate certificate program? am I allowed to study again if I am PGWP? or what is the process? thank you so much in advance 🥰💞💕
After 3 years of bachelor degree we can move towards 1+1 program??
Hi, I got admitted to Seneca Bundle program (1+1) where my courses include 1 year (2 semesters) + 8 months (2 semesters) both of which include optional co-op. I believe this is 18 months study period excluding co-op. In that point, can I secure 3 year PGWP?
What courses have you opted for. I have also applied in seneca for bundle course

What about 1+ 1 Year PGWP + 1 program again??? this is my second study permit HELPPPPPPP
What if I applied 2 years program and already got an LOA and has been approved by immigration for student visa, then I realized I would want to take a different program and it is only for one year then apply another different 1 year program, would that be fine if I would shift from 2yrs program to 1+1 program once I get to Canada? Thanks!
You can change inform IRCC about these changes and still retain your valid study permit, they just need to update it with the new program’s you’re planning to take.
You can read further instructions on how to do so found here:
www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/change-schools.html
Hope this helps ❤️💗
Hello Rachel i have been plannings to go to canada in Jan 2023 can you please tell me what is the tution fee for computer programming course per year in Georgian College please inform cuz I am confused between prices 😅😅
Hi Rachel
I am have my bsc in nursing in india. Is it ok if i enroll in undergraduate program of social service worker in Canada. Any impact on my work permit? Pls reply
Hi Ms.
Although in some cases, some IRCC officers are feeling generous and may upgrade you to business class 😜🤣
However, just to manage your expectations - it’s better to assume the former 🤗☺️
Would u mind do a video on opening students bank accounts from overseas for other countries too coz some banks have limited countries lists
You will need proof of your acceptance letter and a copy of your study permit. Then go online and see the banking details on how to send your documents.
This is such a great suggestion! I’ll definitely share my experiences and a walk through of this 🤗🥳 appreciate your input!
hello, i just wanna ask, if can obtain a new loa for my new course that will start on Sept this year, do i need to finish the 1st term of the course i am now taking which ends on aug 18 this month ? or i dont have to, since it have any bearing ?
since it has no bearing?
I like your swag at the end!!!.. lol
Thanksss, sweatpants all the wayyyy😜🤪
If I decided to take another program, should I provide again proof of funds to support my extension of student visa? thank you Rachel
Usually if you’re transferring from a DLI to another DLI, you just need to inform IRCC about that change in school.
More info about the process can be found here:
www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/change-schools/account.html
Hope this helps! 😊
@@rrdancel is that the same for 1+1 program? 'I just inform IRCC about change the school?
Hi Dear, I suggest that you send a detailed email of your question and problem to my partner at tien@canxvisa.com.
He should be able to assist you with program search, application and give you some guidance on the process.
Hey Ms.rachel your video today it’s related to my program I’ve got this month 1 +1 program..
Oh wooow, which school are you attending? How was your timeline! 😊🥳💗
Hi ms. Rachel , good day, at conestoga college..to be honest ,it’s makes me tons of pressures ,besides it’s getting May but I’m not yet been in medical examination then my intake this coming sept.
May I inquire m,how many weeks the processing visa?
Are there any other college which offers bundled colleges?
Thank you so much Rachel for your informative videos.
I would like to ask that how can I prove ties to with my home country if I don't have any business or landed property and I'm not married?
Your parents.
Question: if my course has a 6 month co-op after one year study period, can I apply for another one year course after my co-op and then appl for 3 year pgwp ?
Yes, that’s possible- just make sure both schools are DLIs and both programs are PGWP-eligible 🤗❤️
@@rrdancel thank you for taking time to reply to me. I find your videos extremely helpful. You and that other girl MC Guzman. The best channels so far. You have GREAT content and VERY clear points. 👍
Much helpful
Hi Rachel, if i will get 1+1 program...when shoudl i apply for the 2nd program?...
I’d say midway through your first program, you should begin your research or check on intake dates for your 2nd program! Better to have wide allowance than do last minute scrambles 🤗❤️
No it won't. Part time pay barely covers rent + bills...you can earn a little bit more in the summer working full-time then.
@@dearestme.mydearest22 Thanks for the reply, when choosing 1+1 program is it ok for me to English language program for 1 year and Certificate program for the other 1 year? Or i can only choose Diploma/Master programs?
@@osmanr3523 sorry...I don't have expertise in that area. I'm doing an undergraduate 4 year program and working part time.
Yes
It really depends on the officer reviewing your file. If your total program of study is less than 2 years but more than 8 months - they may issue you the same length for your PGWP.
If the visa officer is feeling generous, sometimes they may bump it to 3.
But are you willing to risk it?
Thank you so much for the replies. I will try to choose the next programme with sufficient length.
Currently, I'm in Conestoga College
Course: Regulatory affairs 1 yr
( PG certificate)
So, can I go for PSW course at NBCC for second yr, which is not PG certificate
Is it affected my PGWP
Hey can you update ?
Very informative video Rachel. Thank you for that. I have a question if I study 2 masters in Canada , will I get 3 year pgwp? I did my bachelors in law.
Since your program has a program length of 2 years and assuming you met all other PGWP eligibility requirements - Most likely you’ll get a 3-year PGWP 😊❤️
Hey Ma’am, can you make a video on SINP and compare to AIPP (AIP). Just a request
Oh yes, I have yet to update my last video on AIP since a lot has changed since then 😜
hello i have a question , I am almost finish in my program but the college that I enrolled was private and they are not offering PGWP , do you think this 1+1 program will be good strategy ? thankyou
Hi there,
Since you will not be eligible for a PGWP, you may want to consider either a 1 + 1 or other options prior to graduating so that you can be eligible for a PGWP. If you need assistance, please send my partner an email tien@canxvisa.com.
☺️
Hi reachel, have you heard any case of study permit extension refusal?
Oh, I should look into that, but yes, I have heard of a few ☺️
@@rrdancel Thank you, please do!
Hello Rachel, may I know what are the requirements on visa extension if ever I'll extend for another 1 year program? Do I need to submit a proof of funds and SOP again? Thanks :)
The requirements for a study permit extension can be found on IRCC’s website linked below 👇
www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/guide-5552-applying-change-conditions-extend-your-stay-canada-student.html#step1
There’s a document checklist somewhere on the webpage that consolidates all the necessary documents you need to apply from inside Canada 🤗 hope this helps!
It appears an proof of funds are needed but an SOP is not required! 😊
Thank you so much for the response rachel. I have watched all your videos, you have great content. 👏👏👏 Very helpful and informative for aspiring international student like me. All the best and God bless you 🙂❤️
Hi Rachel. I’m planning on applying for a bundle offer at Seneca but the programs are 8 months each. It will be 16 months of study. Will I still be eligible for the 3 year PGWP?
What’s the bundle program? I know Seneca offers some to be eligible for the 3-year PGWP but im not entirely sure. It should be stated on their website - they would have a small line there that says the length of your PGWP! 😊
@@rrdancel The courses are Social Media and Brand Management. I couldn’t find anything about the PGWP on the course pages.
Also Brand Management has an optional work term too. I’m wondering whether it will be more than 8 months with the work term and whether that will contribute to the PGWP length.
Hi @diandra were you able to find answers to these questions? I have same questions now and I need answers, please share if you have answers
