In any normal size map from round start: ewgf > ewgf > b3f1 > b3,2 > (wall) 2 > db2,2,3 = 88dmg if u need more wallcarry you do b,f2 after the b3f2 into heat bound into b3f1,2, up to 90dmg or more with walls i think u can also link heat bound after doing b3f1 twice so you have above average wallcarry with jin
The one thing that I didn't want them to change at all was the omen. I was actually worried they might make it only tornado launch and I won't be able to do 2 omen combos but was shocked to know that it won't launch at all :(
Their vision with omen was basically to make it a grounded hit tool like reina's cd3 thunder god kick or whatever it was called. But, not only is it slower, being what, i18, but grounded hits are also inconsistent outside of 1,b2,2. Also 1,b2,2 still launches on ch iirc, but only through a ch jab otherwise it doesn't. People are all talking about the df1 nerf but what's insane is that he has mixup options out of it now. He can just do df1,2, mid mid I think that's safe. Or df1,jsf2 which is -9 ob and does chip, wallsplats natural combo if it hits. And then df1,charge2 for a blocked wallsplat. So hitting f4 at the wall basically sets up chances for his mixup game, which seems extremely potent.
i dont think df1,2 is safe btw. its not safe in T7, but you might be right, because df1,2 doesnt knockdown anymore. not really sure what they did there.
Df12 no charge is not safe, its -13 standing. And the full charge version doesn't wall splat on block. Also, you can't transition to raijin stance from df12, and even if you could like you can from b2, you can only transition when full charged. It is, however, safe when you do the just frame version, and is still natural combo. Whether the just frame version can be interrupted we will just have to wait and see.

Iirc it wall crumples which will be very good since considering it's kinda a 50/50 between a wallsplatting uninterruptable move, and a massive damage wall crumple move that allows virtually any mixup at the wall. Think dvj's half charged db1+2, it's +24 at the wall you are forced to take the mixup no matter what. This comes directly from the Dev's deep dive on heihachi.
To be honest, they made heihachi so broken already, that this doesn't even feep like a nerf, the man's got everything and more now, plus easier inputs.

I really like t8 and prefer it to t7 but it's hard to deny just how clean t7 still looks, like there's less visual noise, and omen used to launch too. Definitely got reason to keep this game installed too.

After looking at the health bar and seeing all that health gone and no way to get it back makes me feel very good. Lol in Tekken 8 you do combos like that and all the grey life they can get back if you make 1 mistake. In T7 i do an 80% damage combo you are not getting none of that health back. Rage drive and RA made it easy for a comback. But in T8. The whole enitre match is a comback mechanic 😂
@olsenarliawan2951 combo damage is lower. Yes. But I like my opponent not being able to get health back. My actual technique is called "standing damage" I would purposely not juggle my opponents. I would use a lot of pokes and moves that just didn't allow for juggles or combos. Now if the move knocked down and allowed for free ground hit I would focus on that type of move to keep momentum. Now in T8 that's the main strategy "do not knock down, keep momentum" a lot of moves that used to knockdown and juggle just don't anymore and it allows for more damage to be done (standing damage) and it works very good with Leroy. I get you to 80% and you are not getting NONE of that health back due to standing damage, combo/juggle damage is recoverable
its not that big of a nerf as that move is a gamble. it hurts his combos a bit but we dont need another dragonov so its fine. i think the counter hit luancher from f4 hurts more as it was a safe mid poke that launched. now you have to confirm and you dont get much from it
They should have made kazuya’s omen launch if they was just gonna butcher heihachi and gives some of his moves to Reina and Kuma. Kaz should of had a lot of heihachis old stuff if they were gonna give heihachi nerfs and stances
