You’re such a wise young woman. I’m a mental health nurse and the tips and advice you shared are all spot on and useful. The only additional tip that comes to mind, and pardon me if you mentioned it, I’d spend some time in nature or at least connecting to the natural world. Don’t forget to breathe 🧘🏻♂️. Blessings on your journey 💕🙏
My husband just tested positive for covid. We live in the US. I came back to this video again (lost count of the no. of times I’ve already watched it😊) to feel better and lower my anxiety. Thank you Vika!
I love the fact that your faith is in Christ. It’s one of the reasons I watch your channel. You are not afraid to tell people about your love of Jesus and that’s so important in these times especially. I agree with everything you have said. I do not listen or read the news at all. I stopped during the pandemic. I can’t control what happens in the world but I know God is in control so I rest in that. You are very wise for such a young person. May God continue to bless your precious family. ❤️❤️
Amen! I agree 💯%. I watch because she loves Christ and I love her and her family because they are family in the Lord. Vikka is such a lovely person. Very sweet and wise. Stay away from the news. It's toxic. They don't tell the truth anyway and we can't change things either. God bless you and everyone!
Victoria; I have watched you and your family’s journey from the comfort of my home here in Canada. I cannot explain how brave I think you are and how much I admire your courage. You have really made me think lately. Thanks and prayers for your continued wellbeing ❤️
You are seriously one of my favorite youtubers. Your content is so wholesome and warm and full of light it's honestly very refreshing. I can really feel how genuine you are. Thank you for keeping the faith despite the hard times and I pray your fam will remain strong & faithful💖
I agree with your way of handling the stresses and uncertainty of life. May God the Father shower you and your family with his perfect peace and grace. Take care and stay safe.🕊💜🕊
It's very hard to be a sensitive person. I've always been that way. I remember crying for the fish my dad cleaned after fishing. I think I was three or four. It hasn't improved. I still feel for people and animals.
Fantastic advice, Vika. You have wisdom beyond your years. 2 Timothy 1:7 "for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and self-control." Sometimes it's hard to remember that in times of great uncertainty. In addition to your list, I also strive to focus on the needs of other people when life is stressful - take someone a meal, make a phone call, send a "thinking about you" card, offer to visit - there are so many small things that we can do for others. Blessings you all.
This is the wisest video I've ever seen on reducing stress and anxiety. I practice a different religion than you, but love that you started with spiritual care. Spiritual strength, plus decent nutrition and rest, helps a person deal with the various challenges of this world.
You are spot on in your advice, when the pandemic hit I did all of those things and I am so thankful that I did! Most important was staying away from the news. Like you I may watch occasionally but I found it depressing so I try and stay away! Peace and love to you and your family!
There are studies that say moving is one of the most stressful things you will do in your life but I think you made the right choice. I’m an atheist but the reason I don’t criticise people for being religious is because I see how it brings you comfort & guidance but also I don’t believe it’s up to me what other people believe in. (It’s a shame so few Christians see it that way.) less news has become important to me but I do try to stay informed but the biggest thing for me is my partner. She’s a constant in my life no matter what happens & she’s the one who’s always there for me. With her support I can deal with anything. When it comes to coping with difficult times I think a lot of people forget the importance of maintaining your mental health. Spending time with your loved ones, for me at least, is the thing that makes me feel better no matter what’s going on. Taking time out to play a video game may seem frivolous but it distracts me for a while & allows me to come back refreshed to look at the things I need to deal with, so don’t feel guilty about spending time & money on entertainment in whatever way works for you. Great video, thanks. My best wishes to you & your family.
The first two days after the invasion of Ukraine, I watched news 12 hours per day, then I started to get heart rushing and I started trembeling when I heard the news, because I felt so sorry for the people going through all the suffering, so I had to stop feeding myself with so much news... Like you say, it's important to know what's going on and follow up crucual happenings, but we don't need to hear the news each and every hour. To lessen our news-watching is not about avoiding hardships, it's about taking care of ourselves in order to get through the day. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences!... We need each other and I think it is beautiful to use UA-cam to share things like this. Almost every evening I make a recording for myself, like a love letter to myself. I don't know if it would help someone else, but it helps me to hear my voice saying uplifting, gentle words. Also to make a thank you-list can help me. To collect sources of joy. Take care Victoria and everyone!! Love from Nenne in Sweden
Your husband and daughter are so blessed to have such a wise wife and mother with such good insight in the best ways to live in this crazy world we all live in. I know your little talk has inspired me, I am preparing for a major surgery in 2 weeks and have been worried. Your advice is even good for an old man like me. Thank you so much. Edward.
Thank you for sharing your tips. They are very good. This world will always have troubles. Thankful to know the God who can help us through it all. Sending love from Florida.
I to am a Christian and when I’m stressed or frightened the first thing I do is pray! It calms and reassures me that God has us in His hands and He’s in control ultimately. I’ve been praying for you and your family. God bless you and keep you safe!
This is very good info, I'm going to be moving and we are leaving everything and going to a place I know nothing 😳 my faith in God is all that helps me continue.
Living in poverty-striken Greece, deep into financial woes since 2007, both the country and the plethora of her citizens, I admire you and your family for the bravery you showed, a bravery I curse myself for not having the guts to show for the benefit of my own family. You are an inspiration, albeit so young. Bravo.
Very good advice. I have had to not watch the news as much as I usually do, and focus on my life here and now. That doesn't mean I'm ignorant or hiding from world events, but too much negativity can affect your spirit. Blessings on you and your family ❤️
Hey Vika, Tolya, Agatha and Future Baby Sister! Glad to see you all looking so healthy and reasonably balanced in a safe, comfortable home. Lovely nature and family footage. All of your tips are valid and top notch. I'm very grateful for your work on this channel, sharing what's going on and what's working for you. Keep up the wonderful job. Bright blessings, all!
Very wise words.. I have a strong faith in God but sometimes I need a reminder how to just stay focused on my well being. Thank you for the incourging words .. God bless you and your Family.. I will keep you in my prayers..
Your suggestions are appreciated. I think getting outside and appreciating your family and pets are at the top with prayer and spending time with God. Great sharing, Vika!
All you’ve shared is so true! Thank you. (: As a Christian, I find such peace in being quiet before the LORD, and thanking Him that I have a loving father in heaven, no matter what is happening around me. We have the throne of Grace to go to for Grace. ❤️ Your sister in Christ in Texas
Dear Vika, You are wise beyond your years. Such good advice and love that you share your Christian faith. I can't wait to see the new baby. You are such a blessing to so many. Praying God's blessings on you and your beautiful family.
Thank you, I’ve been trying to do all these things. I gave up news when the pandimic started. We just had the school shooting in Texas and I added the families to my prayers. Love knowing you and your family are doing better. Love you guys. California Joanna
These tips are great for approaching crisis, both personal/societal. I say this as someone who studies organizational identity formation at the PhD level. The idea of the spirit factors into this, whether someone identifies with conventional religious belief or not, because it is difficult to function when you feel demoralized. The rest is about proportion/scale/scope of what you personally are responsible for and expectations for what you can do in any given moment in response to a problem.
Your advice is so wise beyond your youth and I would say that Christ in your life leads you✝️ I wish I had had Christ when I was very young but so thankful to have Him ,and The Word of God in my life.. At times ,my comments have been removed for this kind of speaking but I am so glad you are doing this..I have very hard discision now about where to live and your advice is spot on on..You and your sweet family are in my daily prayers...May God continue to keep you and bless you mightly my dear sister in Christ..Much Love from Alabama USA 👩🦳💖💖🙏🌿🕊️🌿
A wise Christian author and speaker, Elisabeth Elliot, once said, "When you don't know what to do next, do the next thing." This advice has gotten me through many thought times when I could have been crippled by anxiety or doubt.
I was going to comment about this. I really don’t want to just self promote myself but I read the poem out on my channel awhile back. It’s called “do the next thing”. ❤️. I even rewatch it from time to time to settle my heart.
The other day, I played one of your videos and it helped anxiety and worry go away. Thank you for reminding us of all the little joys that life gives us ❤️.
🌻 Do not be "overun" by emotions🌼Remain calm and everyone around you will remain calm too 🌼Read 🌸 Rest🌻 Invigorate a happiness lifestyle🌹Sing often 🌼 🌸 🌻GOOD advice 🌹
I think noticing the little things that bring you joy is called practicing 'mindfulness'. If you take a walk, notice the sounds, trees, birds, people, buildings all that sort of thing and really take it in. Focus on the present and not external thoughts that you can't control. I've done this in the past and it really helps you appreciate things and relax more.
How very kind and good of you to share your insights. You never know how important and far reaching your thoughts and helpful tips can be to someone in crisis. The serenity prayer came to mind as I listen to you. God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.
I totally agree with refraining from watching too much news. I barely watch mainstream TV. I watch movies so I can have more control what I'm subjected to. Tfs & take care 🌺
I really appreciate your positive and helpful advice for dealing with stress and anxiety. My go to for years has been to shop when I get stressed or depressed. You are right though, it only adds to the stress. Thank you for mentioning this and making me mindful to not go shopping when I’m stressed. It will only make me double stressed.
A walk always helps. Fresh air and some sort of exercise. You and your family have a lot to cope with right now. What a start in life. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Xx
I really like this video! It came online right in the perfect time. I totally agree with you. It's so easy to put these points in action. Thank you! Be blessed!
May our Lord watch over you and your lovely family during your travel and coming future. I am from Malaysia and I follow your blog very closely. We will uphold you in our prayers. Lots of love from us. Mike & Tracy Yip.
I watched this before, but needed to hear it again. Your advice is so helpful! You are a wonderful Mom and Wife! I hope you are doing well, and your family is blessed! I will pray for your family in Russia too! Thank your sharing your advice ,it is tremendously helpful! God bless you!!!
Hello Victoria, just like you I pray, read my Bible, speak God's words into my life and situations, trust him and I stay away from the News. I focus on what's important in my life and not situations I can't control. I enjoyed the video, made me realize doing the right things.😊
I also pray when I am anxious and above all when my worries prevent me from finding an inner balance, which is important to be able to live peacefully with ourselves and then with others. The prayer are like most is the prayer of Ave Maria, which according to me brings a lot of peace. Then I usually try to avoid bad news, if I can, but I'd rather prefer reading a good book like a novel. Anyway it is essential to get distracted with the things we like best. I am very glad that you could have found such a beautiful place to spend wonderful days. Thank you for sharing this awesome video.
Vika, thanks for this personal vlog. Your advice reinforces my understanding of many healthy personal habits (and reminds me to follow them). BTW, you, Tolya and Agatha are visual examples of the results of healthy living!
Thanks Vika, i hope soon enough you and your family will pull it together and you have no reason not to be able to. I am originally from Azerbaijan, ironically we have been having this on and off "relationship" with Russia for 200 years... well, life goes on, if i didnt like it where i was i moved out. of course, pandemics following up with war, new and media "involvement" are not really helping, but i am sure you guys are on the right path and you will make it happen. In case you ever feel like talking, i am more than happy. Im 34, and with these times, i went through 3 wars ( post-wars) + pandemics like everyone else. Good luck, greetings from Prague !!!
Great and wise advice Victoria. Control is an illusion. God’s in control and that keeps me from working. “ I will never leave or forsake you “ also “ I didn’t give you the spirit of fear, but of power and love and a strong mind “ God Bless you all 💕🙏
Today's vlog topic is also a way for projecting your perspective to consider the welfare of all humanity, not only our individual concerns, an approach common to Buddhists. I hope many benefit from these positive suggestions for coping with circumstances beyond our control. I would also add the benefits of exercise to the advice you already included about sleep and eating patterns.
You are an amazing woman. I admire your strength amidst all the all the turmoil your family has faced in recent months. I pray for your family’s continued safety, strength, comfort and happiness. Much love and hugs from Florida. 💕🤗🙏😘
whenever i feel very anxious i try to focus on having my coffee or washing the dishes! it’s so helpful. also watching your videos is something that no matter how bad i feel they always help me feel more calm and just happier in general so thank you!!!!!💗
Thank you Vika for your beautiful video and for sharing your healthy tips, they're very helpful and encouraging. Wishing you and your family many blessings🌼💛🌷💛🍀💛🍋💛🫒
Great tips for reducing stress, u n ur family have been thru so much all while being pregnant n w/ Agatha I'm glad to see y'all doing n looking great.💞
I can’t imagine all that you and your family is going through. I pray that God’s truth will reside deeply in you and your family to give you hope and joy. Many blessings!
We are living in a very stressful world at the moment and unfortunately it's all down to one evil and,it's so sad that you had to leave your home, Russia looks to be a beautiful country with beautiful people as you have proved, you deem to be a very wise young lady, good luck to you and your family love from Ireland ❤️
Thank you for this video! Its a great reminder for everyone. I look forward to your videos. You seem like such great people its very refreshing to see!
Thanks Vika! Yes watching / reading the news can be the worst thing for stress and anxiety! And putting God first is the best thing. 🙌🏻🙌🏻 Jesus will take care of us & He doesn’t want us to be worried. It says in the Bible 365 times to worry not. 💙💙 He has the whole world in His hands. 🙌🏻🙌🏻 God bless 💖💖
All very good advice. You are very wise. One thing that helped me at the beginning of the pandemic was to focus on daily routines and daily tasks. I learned about the Fly lady system by watching Diane in Denmark.
Excellent suggestions! It helps to do things that you have control over. You are so right about watching less news. I had to do that and it did protect me a bit from the constant upset I was feeling.
I'm not religious but I agree with most of what you say. I'm all for being grateful for what I have and being grateful for the simply but essential things, clean air, clean water, a comfortable home, plenty of food, a safe and happy family, reasonable health (I'm much older than you and I've had to face chronic health issues with a sudden onset, despite, being very active and healthy before that). I'm also selective about what news I pay attention too and how that affects my decisions. Thankfully, I'm in a much safer country, however, I was able to cut our winter power bills (from last year) by half by using renewable energy, anyone who didn't do that in my part of the world, has had to cope with huge inflation. I hope for all the best for you and yours.
I love what you said about caring for the spirit! The way you speak is so full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom. You have a wonderful, compassionate heart.
You are glowing and look so calm and relaxed even though you are struggling with the news and having friends and family staying behind. You are so right in these suggestions and I take it to heart because I’m struggling with my health and it is so hard to keep positive all the time. I try to laugh as much as I can to distract myself with my struggles! I have osteoarthritis in my entire spine and it’s very painful to the point I had to buy a wheelchair to go to the store with my husband. Prayer is so important. God is in control and we all are going to be ok according to His promises. God bless you and your family and thank you for this video! ❤️🙏
Your points are very positive and helpful and should help each and everyone that follows them. Your advise is very welcomed and hopefully will bring some peace to everyone! Thanks so much!
Good advice. Sometimes we need to hear this even if we already know it. I’ve been very impressed by how you’re handling such big life changes and uncertainty.
Thank you for creating a gift of care for others during your own time of great uncertainty. I find it very wise to begin with your spiritual self. It is the root. So many stress reduction tips are “fluffy” and might be fun but don’t address the real need of the soul. Going deeper is more work and, I think, more beneficial. I am grateful you have found a safe haven for your family and your pregnancy. All the love to each of you.
My mantra was “In through the nose, out through the mouth.”
Oh yes! Nature is so good for our mental health!✨
My husband just tested positive for covid. We live in the US. I came back to this video again (lost count of the no. of times I’ve already watched it😊) to feel better and lower my anxiety. Thank you Vika!

Just curious, if she wasn't a christian, would you still watch? Would the value of the content be less, in your mind, if she were Buddhist?
Victoria;
I have watched you and your family’s journey from the comfort of my home here in Canada. I cannot explain how brave I think you are and how much I admire your courage. You have really made me think lately. Thanks and prayers for your continued wellbeing ❤️

I agree with your way of handling the stresses and uncertainty of life.
May God the Father shower you and your family with his perfect peace and grace.

This needed to be said and heard daily
Blessings to you and your family

Dear Vika, These are challenging trials for many of us. Thank you always for sharing your faith and inspiration. Much love to all.
I've learned from you this time Vika. Thank you. Stay strong. Stay close to the Lord our God. Love you as my younger sister in the Lord.

Your wisdom and ability to communicate is far beyond your years.
Have to agree with all the good advice in this video I am finding the environment around you adding to the calm, this place is such a stress buster
I totally agree with refraining from watching too much news.

A walk always helps. Fresh air and some sort of exercise. You and your family have a lot to cope with right now. What a start in life. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Xx
I really like this video! It came online right in the perfect time. I totally agree with you. It's so easy to put these points in action. Thank you! Be blessed!
I am living in Turkey as a university student with total unceartinity and high levels of stress for every minute and hope video helps a little
May our Lord watch over you and your lovely family during your travel and coming future.
I am going to watch this video over and over whenever I get stressed about the the way our world is now. Thank you! Your voice is very calming.
Hello Victoria, just like you I pray, read my Bible, speak God's words into my life and situations, trust him and I stay away from the News. I focus on what's important in my life and not situations I can't control. I enjoyed the video, made me realize doing the right things.😊
Yes, yes, and YES.
You’re one of the most intelligent humans I’ve met in awhile. Basic stuff but all important. I love your energy. 💗
Beautiful and useful. Precious family. Grace and peace from a sister in our Lord Jesus Christ ♥️
I feel , as a fellow Christian, that God is using you for so much good ! You are a huge inspiration. Thank you. X
Some good advice. Not watching much news helps a lot . Take care you and your family
Спасибо, Вика! Совет очень мудрый. В последнее время я очень беспокоюсь. Много молитв за вас, Толю, Агату и малышку.
Viktoria, you have a beautiful spirit. May the Lord bless you and your husband. He will never leave you, nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5)
Great and wise advice Victoria. Control is an illusion. God’s in control and that keeps me from working. “ I will never leave or forsake you “ also “ I didn’t give you the spirit of fear, but of power and love and a strong mind “ God Bless you all 💕🙏
Such wisdom! This is very helpful. Thank you.

That is beautiful. Thank you
Thanks Vika!
🙏 Yes, prayer is definitely first💕
You are a gem and a shining light. I wish you much peace.
All very good advice. You are very wise. One thing that helped me at the beginning of the pandemic was to focus on daily routines and daily tasks. I learned about the Fly lady system by watching Diane in Denmark.
Listening to you is wonderful...your intellect and integrity are amazing. You make very wise decisions
Excellent suggestions! It helps to do things that you have control over. You are so right about watching less news. I had to do that and it did protect me a bit from the constant upset I was feeling.
V, thank you for all you've said. We all need to hear those good advice. Number 4 is really so important and free to do!❤️
I'm not religious but I agree with most of what you say.
Thanks so much for sharing your experiences and your own ways for dealing with the considerable stress you are under. Take care of your dear selves.
Thank you Victoria, you are a calm person, your voice is also calming, and you are so positive, God Bless you!
Hey Vika keep having positive thoughts..God bless you and your family❤ 🇬🇧
Your points are very positive and helpful and should help each and everyone that follows them. Your advise is very welcomed and hopefully will bring some peace to everyone! Thanks so much!
All good suggestions. I have always felt that watching the news too much brings me down.
Good advice. Sometimes we need to hear this even if we already know it. I’ve been very impressed by how you’re handling such big life changes and uncertainty.
Vika, you are amazing. Bless you and your growing family.
Бог благословио тебе и твоју породицу 🙏
Thank you for creating a gift of care for others during your own time of great uncertainty. I find it very wise to begin with your spiritual self. It is the root. So many stress reduction tips are “fluffy” and might be fun but don’t address the real need of the soul. Going deeper is more work and, I think, more beneficial. I am grateful you have found a safe haven for your family and your pregnancy. All the love to each of you.
