I always thought Hu Tao looks more like she could be Amber’s older sister... or distant cousin. And when you realize it, they’re both pretty similar in a lot of way. Amber even has roots to Liyue.
For you who doesn't know what she said, I'll try to summarize it for you. She said: - She think Genshin has a lot of appealing environment like flowers, air, and cute kanji reading (yes she said that), she think Hu Tao's kanji character (read: fuu tao) is cute. But eventually she explains that she want to makes Hu Tao as a tricky character. - She thinks Hu Tao's dual personality is lovely. There's a lot of it in the presented material to her. She said that Hu Tao is like naughty and playful character but she also talk about something difficult. But some people also doesn't say bad things about Hu Tao. - She want have episode where Hu Tao has a lot of interactions to the others. - She also like Xingqiu (Yukuaki), she likes his high socks (staff:.... what the hell?) "what? why isn't everybody laughing?" - She praised Xingqiu's VA, Minagawa Junko, genuine-ly liked her voice, she cannot do male character voice like her. - She really happy when she was playing Hu Tao at her game and got Xingqiu in her gacha. She don't know what to do if doesn't get Xingqiu. She also add Kaeya to her party because he has a long legs and fast runner. She still on the Dvalin storyline and after this she want to level up Xingqiu. - Recently she got Staff of Homa (5 stars) that really "not strong", she means she cannot level it up, because she is new to the game.... She still cannot use Hu Tao, her Hu Tao is dead after she attack with her first ability, so she wants to increase her level and learn about her and her weapon (when asked what she want to do in Genshin world). - When asked about Hu Tao's song she said that the other VA is "very adorable" and she's like "Please teach me to sang like that" - She also want to add what Qiqi said being a "false laugh" in Hu Tao's song like "Ehehehe Qiqi" to the lyrics - Takahashi think Hu Tao is type of character that not "cannot reading the atmosphere/situations" but "decided to not to read the situations" - Lastly she asked you as players "Is Hu Tao cute? or annoying? or gross?" Some of it are related to the scenario (in last words) but I dont play it until there so I cannot explain it to you since the JP and English translation is different when it comes to Chinese words. But I hope this helps.
Oo and there was question "what similar rie has with hu tao?". Rie-san said she is passionate in her work and the type that body move first same like hu tao. But eventhough hu tao like crow, rie-san is not. Hu tao like feeding crow as hobby. But rie-san when meet crow on her way, she willing to take detour just to get away from the crow.
I had to translate this part for my fellow Rie fans. Not exactly 1 for 1 though as I'm still learning myself. 1:15 - "At the very beginning, when I was told that a role for a character named Hu Tao has come in, when I looked at the offer, there was a bust up, like, you know the pictures for the characters in the game? When I first saw it, I thought " She's super super cute! I really want to voice her!" I mean, first of all, her face is my type haha. She's super stinking cute isn't she?!" Fast forward a little to 2:00 and she says she went to the studio to record, and the staff told her, " For this character.. we want you to make her super weird, which left a big impression haha. 6:37 - "Also personally, a character that I really like/is my taste is Xingqiu.. I really like him... high socks are... great aren't they? Minagawa Junko voicing his character, honestly, I personally love. When a female seiyuu voices a young boy I'm super weak to it. Oh yeah, when I heard that it was decided that I would be the role for Hu Tao, I started playing the game, and Xingqu bo-chan came home!!! So happy!! I was aiming for him and if he didn't come home, I wasn't sure what I'd do. So right now I have (I'm assuming in her party) Xingqiu, Hu Tao, and Kaeya.. His legs are long and he's fast.. and I'm doing my best with that team, and I'm still only around the Dvalin part! I want to hurry and fully raise Xingqiu asap, is how it's been going." Never change Rierie.. 7:47 - I can't fully read the question because I suck at Kanji but "Hmmm, recently I got her weapon! And...... it's not strong at all!" LOL. " I don't mean it like that! It's because I haven't raised it/or Hu Tao at all! As someone who only recently started, Hu tao immediately dies! She goes SAN! (E skill), and it goes BWO! and the fire butterfly effect comes out, right? Her HP keeps going down, and when you fight only using her, Hu tao's HP gauge steadily widdles away to nothing, and so I really want to hurry and raise both Hu Tao and her Weapon" I would translate more, but I don't have the time. Plus I'm sure someone better at Japanese than me will come along and do it haha. But to keep the rest of it brief, she does mention how when she first heard the little song Hu Tao sings, she was surprised at how cute Hu Tao was. 9:02 Also in regards to Nana-chan (Qiqi), how there's a voice line about how Hu Tao has a lying smile, I think? And how it's gross. And how Hu Tao plays around and is like 'HEHEHE, Nana-channnn' was funny. She says, rather than a character who can't read the mood, Hu Tao is a character who chooses not to read the mood! Which I think is a perfect description haha.

I had to translate this part for my fellow Rie fans. Not exactly 1 for 1 though as I'm still learning myself.
1:15 - "At the very beginning, when I was told that a role for a character named Hu Tao has come in, when I looked at the offer, there was a bust up, like, you know the pictures for the characters in the game? When I first saw it, I thought " She's super super cute! I really want to voice her!" I mean, first of all, her face is my type haha. She's super stinking cute isn't she?!" Fast forward a little to 2:00 and she says she went to the studio to record, and the staff told her, " For this character.. we want you to make her super weird, which left a big impression haha.
6:37 - "Also personally, a character that I really like/is my taste is Xingqiu.. I really like him... high socks are... great aren't they?
Minagawa Junko voicing his character, honestly, I personally love. When a female seiyuu voices a young boy I'm super weak to it.

9:02 Also in regards to Nana-chan (Qiqi), how there's a voice line about how Hu Tao has a lying smile, I think? And how it's gross. And how Hu Tao plays around and is like 'HEHEHE, Nana-channnn' was funny.
She says, rather than a character who can't read the mood, Hu Tao is a character who chooses not to read the mood!
Which I think is a perfect description haha.
