How does it do with dirt/sap on the rope? I was using a grigri 2 for a while and just the slightest bit of sap would totally jam it up and you would have to basically self rescue yourself onto another system... I also do search and rescue so being able to use it for 2 person loads is really appealing.
What type of climbing are you planning on doing with it? I have been getting it dialed in more and more. So I am loving it. I use it for tree work and industrial now. I have to a point that I can limb walk with it as if it was a hitch.
OK, ya I run the same. It takes a a little to get use to it but there are some tricks to having it run smooth in places it may seem difficult. I will put some vid up of how I have been having it run smoother for me without the use of the handle all the time.

I would us it for tree work on 7/16 kernmantle static rope
