Internal gremlins for sure on that G90. Hope it's gasket-related not the ring. Maybe even the head gasket not seated properly, or might it be losing some compression at the glow plug? No sizzling sound, so yeah, can''t wait for a troubleshooting video. Either way, what a great engine if it runs at all when clearly something is not right. (btw, I own a second hand G 75S [no G90s], the compression is very strong, so I recon that is the norm for these engines).
If you want a g90 its yours it will need bearing but was a solid running engine compression is good had about a gallon ran through it i purchased it new pre HH from tower.
@ 14:33 I went sort of "WTF" :D I've lost all 3 of my Irvine 53's rear exhaust parts just like that in the air - but they still performed admirably after opening the main needle nearly a whole turn. Never recovered them somehow. Can be funny how loud even small 2-strokes can get with half their exhausts. With regard to the G75, can't really understand why it should run so differently from the break-in run, way off. The G90 is indeed in need of disassembling and a thorough exam; there must be a good reason as to why it has nearly no compression at all.
Well this is a Top Flite in cowl muffler and it has tabs on the back. It is supposed to be screwed onto the firewall, thus eliminating it from coming off like that.
Rosendale huh? You're only about 15 minutes away from me. Do you have any .40-.60 sized used engines for sale? I need one for a project... Edit: I am a glow engine collector/hoarder also, and if you have the need to thin your heard out a bit, I would be very interested in checking out your collection, and purchasing some of the ones you're looking to let go. If you're interested in that, reply to this comment here, and we'll figure out a way to communicate outside of UA-cam. ✌️
Simply email me. You can get my email address from the channel page. There is a link in the description of all of my videos on how to obtain my email. Yes I have 40-60 size engines i would part with. BTW, i am not an engine collector/hoarder.

Thanks for sharing. It was surprising to see the G 90 running quite ok, although the compression is weak.
A run is a run... As long you learned something it's all good. Definitely sounds like the G90 needs some attention.

Thank you. That is a great offer as i have never replaced bearings in a Super Tigre engine before. Shoot me an email please.

@@dmrcflyr2 Quite understand David; something that you most definitely couldn't do on your stand. Keep up the good work, thank you!
