Ado is extremely introverted, that's why I think the last thing that'll happen is that we see her face... and then she'll probably retire ;). She said in a tv interview a few months back that her personal goal for the future is to "hate herself less" and that she'd be way too inhibited to perform well if she knew that people could see her and knew how she looks like. There is a rapidly rising number of "faceless singers" in Japan who are, amongst other things, pretty much tired of always and only being judged by how they look, which is still very much one of the most important things for a female artist in Japan. Minami is also a very talented singer who doesn't show herself. Or the duo Yorushika are in the music business for 10 years now without showing their faces (at least the vocalist doesn't). Some of Japan's VTubers, which is one of the fastest rising entertainment genres there at the moment, are also pretty talented when it comes to singing and they never show their faces or reveal their identitiy either.
I think the prediction that Ado will retire soon will be wrong, at least if her popularity doesn't wane. Because she has declared that winning a Grammy is her goal. No one with such lofty goals in mind would retire solely for personal reasons.

The whole sentence was more out of jest than anything anyways, nobody knows what would happen. Maybe just continue to perform as a silhouette, even though her identity is out, would help.

Three sisters from Mexico, who have been playing since they were teenagers. Pau (Pow) the drummer (also singer), Ale the bassist, and Danny the singer. Danny is very expressive. I suggest you check out the live song Hell You Call a Dream.

Show is not my thing either, I'm more into rock and metal, but I'm a pretty big fan nonetheless because Ado's music is never boring. Basically every song's a different genre. She also has rock songs, EDM, Pop, ballads, jazzy stuff, city pop and some sections in songs, especially live, are borderline metal.
