Over the years ive come to only aqueek greys in trees, ive found they spook more when on the ground..probably a preditor/raptor thing.. Great to see your use had the desired affect..crackin video matt as ever..
Great content as always Matt. Can I ask a question please? Over the years I’ve been watching you seem to cock the PCP rifles immediately after taking a shot so you’re ready for the next target. Is there an upper limit to these modern PCP rifles staying cocked? I sit in a hide with mine cocked but always wondering how long is it detrimental? Cheers. 👍
I have left PCP airguns cocked for several hours and never noticed any obvious harm to the gun as a result. It certainly isn't like leaving the mainspring compressed on a spring-powered airgun. Thanks for watching. Mat
I bought a black force 400 a couple of weeks ago. Brand new a hundred and 10 pounds . I'm a bit confused over the 10.5 ftlbs you stated though . I bought this for a backyard plinker, however mine chronographed at 643 fps average using 14.3 g .22 domed pellets. Surely that would put it about 13 ftlbs ? Please correct me if I'm mistaken.
The power level I state in the review is the power the test gun was producing over the chrono. It is not at all unusual for there to be variation between different guns that roll off the same production line. The figures you state do add up to just over 13ft/lb. That would make your airgun illegal in the UK, unless it is on a firearms certificate. If it isn't licensed, you need to take it back to where you bought it and ask them to make it legal. All the best. Mat
Yes, we get lots of ticks. The Rovince jacket and trousers I'm wearing in this video actually have tick repellent. It appears to work as I've not picked one up while wearing them. Thanks for watching. Mat

Theyre not spring rifles, there's nothing to wear out , so u can keep it cocked m8
@@rogerparker9228some airguns have a hammer springs some you clearly have no idea
@richardbrooks1488 yes they have a hammer springs, but not like spring rifles, I've stripped down enough rifles in my time to know lad

@@rogerparker9228which is more durable? Spring air rifles or pcp?
Excellent show. Where can this combo be bought.
To name a few in the UK, I believe it is available from DAI Leisure, Just Airguns and Pellpax as well as plenty of others.
Thanks for watching. Mat
What attachment do you use to film Matt, does it fit a GoPro?
I use the Eagle Vision GoPro Mount.

yeah its around the 13ft/lb mark but it will settle down over time to jsut under 12ft/lb
