Sweetwater Creek State Park Snake Herping

Spending the day at Sweetwater Creek State Park in Atlanta, Georgia. Our mission was to catch some water snakes and we did just that. We caught 3 banded water snakes and a Yellow-bellied slider turtle. Great day for catching some wildlife!

Spotted what I think was a copperhead yesterday on the red trail about 10:30am and then couple feet from that a beautiful reddish and brownish snake. They like to sunbathe on the rocks(petrified trees) by the water. Excellent video. Brave souls.
